The fact that the spigots are now much shorter is part of the further development, because previously some barrels were unsuitable because their bore was not deep enough ...

For me personally,the Fit Flight pro are the best moulded flights in terms of ease of use and performance on the board. They are much better for me than these all in one systems, that just fly way too fast and land in the board way to flat. It’s really a shame the Fit Flight pros don’t come in a plain standard shape and the fit flight air can sometimes warp by looking at them wrong. If Money was irrelevant, I would definitely choose Cosmo.

Some sandpaper/emery cloth does just as good, and roughs up the dart preventing bounce outs!

They certainly don’t meet the rule lol, it has to be a straight point all the way through with no grooves or ridges.

My dart points can"t be too long, because the end of my point rests on my third finger!!

There are a lot of variables besides the barrel length to consider. Do you grip the front, middle, or rear, for instance. I throw heavier (26g) darts, so I prefer longer barrels to keep my darts thin enough (given the same % of tungsten) to not block a treble. I definitely recommend trying out a big variety to find what works for you. Of course, without any darts shops near me, my trial and error process was expensive!

I'm sorry, but this is just wrong. Dart lengths are different for a reason and for some of us, that reason can result in a significant difference in dart behaviour.

I don’t know about that. The difference between 50 and 55 mm is only 5mm. But it’s also an 10% increase. And just putting a smaller stem decrease the total length, but the angle of entry will definitely change. It’s something you can definitely experiment with, but don’t expect the dart to behave the same.

You didn’t mention the biggest difference; the balance and weight distribution. Even though you can achieve the same overall length of dart by changing the stem and flight combo, the overall balance of the darts won’t be the same.

I wanted to try these but I'm not sure if they meet the new point regulations the PDC came up with.

Try the Harrow's PowerPoint collars

My son bought a set 2 yrs ago at CTC and changed the shafts to Harrows aluminum keramic shafts and the flights to a set of Harrows Retina flights and the throw very nice as a secondary set , i think a great value for the money and great for starters. thank you for showing
