Your paladin smite macro is wrong. They add their bonus, if any, not the modifier. "If this target is evil, the paladin adds her Charisma bonus (if any) to her attack rolls and adds her paladin level to all damage rolls made against the target of her smite. " They never get a penalty when smiting, by the core rules.

In our fight we actually didn't kill the dragon. Our wizard blew of his tail with an iceball, so he fled.

Oh my f-ing god. Two different continents and still both your players and my group brought up the cocaine bears. 🤣

Not gonna lie, I was immediately nervous when the characters acted all cocky in front of the boss. Remember when I said a giant almost killed our sorcerer? One of them stone minions did that. What I didn't mention was that the other one almost one shot our wizard and the boss himself reduced the barbarian's health down to single digits.

Looking forward to a new story. Love to see some fights outside of the mechs as well.

That cave was a interesting one. Our sorcerer almost died cause a giant stepped on him, my cleric adopted a Tiefling girl them witches were about to have for dinner an a group of giants learned that two fireballs, one lightning and one flame strike hurt. A lot.

Man. That was one stressful battle. But at least they didn't have to fight that beast in the city. 😅 Also, since we were less creative with our contract, our deal only exchanged freedom for help during one fight. We are still owed that debt and I am reasonably certain, that only me and one other player remember it. And I'm planning to save it for the final boss. 😎

In our campaign we had some help with the "distraction". Rasmus the hill giant and Shalelu, to be more specific. And because he was significantly bigger than an ogre, our DM gave his best Shrek impression. Including the "somebody once told me".

Oh, I feel the kitty's pain. In my cleric's party we have a Summoner who not only is a cat but her eidolon is a cat as well. A real soft target meat grinder but anything tougher she hat to leave to me, the barbarian and the murderhobo.

One thing I'm wondering: How does the whole Geoffrey drinking the extracts work? Is it something the tumor familiar can just do? Is it a feat? An agreement between you and Kord?

Personally, I got a bit of a chuckle out of the fact that the Ifrit of all people was concerned about other people burning the outpost down.

Curse upon thee, timezones. Got the twitch notification when I woke up early, but with a workday coming up, I couldn't watch it live.

Oh, the Ogerkin. That bit marked the first time the murderhobo and my cleric agreed on something. And by that I mean, we saved the guys, killed everything else and put the whole place to the torch.

Gotta say, I do love the doctor's alchemist shenanigans. Makes me want to dig out one of the builds I made for our next campaign.

As a cleric traveling with a murderhobo I'm glad the murderhobo cleric survived.

We had a bit of a badass moment during that fight. Imagine if you will, three Squishies in the back panicking because the cult tries to get to them, a murderhobo doing murderhobo things and on the front a barbarian and my cleric blocking said cult from reaching said Squishies. Fighter: mumbles in murderhobo Wizard: "that big guy tanks fire. I could turn my fireball into ice but I'd still hit the barbarian and the cle..." Barbarian and cleric, in character and in unison: "JUST DO IT!" Explosion DM:"The clouds of ice and frozen mist clear. The barbarian and the cleric are still standing. The cultists are not."

This city really must attract pirates. Cause we met one as well. A flamboyant Tengu Pirate Captain who happened to be our sorcerer's Dad.

Out of curiosity, do you remember if the good doctor was a normal alchemist or if he had an archetype?

In our campaign we restrained our resident murderhobo and the pyromaniac after finding the revenant. She actually survived the battle with foxglove and collapsed or was laid to rest by my cleric.

Awesome as always. Happy to see Derwolf getting back into DMing. One of my favorite DMs! I'm working 10 hour night shifts and these are great to listen to during downtime.

Oh god. My cleric has so much trauma from that place. Cause everything that could hit her in the face. Repeatably. In fact, I actually changed my avatar after we were done to show the scars this experience had left.

My group learned two very important lessons in that corn maze. 1. A cleric build for healing and a cleric build for support and hitting things are very different beasts. 2. Desintegrating undead with channel positive energy does not require line of sight.

Love magical knack. Used it with two characters: My cleric/now holy vindicator and my wizard/alchemist/souldrinker. Both times to cancel out the loss in caster levels for the main class. Also, my cleric dates Shalelu and can confirm that she is indeed a lovely woman.

I gonna miss Red. I liked the dynamic between him and Os. The curious boy and his weird, smelly but caring grandfather. XD

Those candles make excellent mood lighting. I should know. XD Also, fun fact. Through pure coincidence my cleric looks like Nualias lawful good twin. Which our DM turned into a backstory hook for our barbarian. He was tricked by cultists into going to sandpoint to "look for guidance from a silver haired cleric". So when he met my cleric, he followed her around like a puppy. Took us ten levels and one and a half real life years to figure out why.

We had quite a few close calls in those battles ourselves. Which some time later resulted in the creation (and later upgrade) of my favorite magic weapon. Because my cleric, with every coin she had, the knowledge from her monster hunter background and her own craftsmanship created Sugarra, a cold iron bastard sword with the Grayflame enchantment.

Ohhhh, the vendor. XD Our fighter fell for it as well. Our group avoided any shopping restricting consequences, because the dude asked if we were friends with that "half-orc scumbag" and my cleric's answer was to point at the other half-orc of the group and to explain him that she was indeed a friend of this half-orc. Okay, technically I just caught my DM off guard but I still count it as a win. XD

Ah, the goblin fight. In our own campaign, my rage cleric scored the first combat nat 20 during that battle. With a shove. What I wanted to do was getting a goblin of our wizard. What our DM ruled I did, because I specifically said I'd kick the goblin, was delivering a kick so vicious that said goblin exploded. XD

Ah, yes, Ragathiel, empyreal lord of chivalry, duty, vengeance and punching bad guys in the face. Though that last part might be just my clerics interpretation. ;)
