@GosportDiggers if theres local car boot sales field or you know an events gets hold in a field year its worth trying to get, i had to ask the village perish council to go onit it was a very long process but worth it in the end

@martinmorgan8475 hi, yes, both machines are good, but they will hit the same target's no matter what. The double score has only two tones one for iron and one for the good stuff its a great machine, ive found hammereds and gold rings with mine and you can buy one from here collabs.shop/jgmflu

@martinmorgan8475 very easy to use and yes its found easily 30+ silver coins 3 hammered coins and 1 gold ring from my experience with it, just turn on a go thats all it is

@martinmorgan8475 there are 3 modes, park, field, beach all you have to do is select between the 3 with which one you use, i would recommend keeping it in Multi 2, which there are 4 types of frequencies to chose from, 15kHz, Multi 1, which is a lower Multi-Frequencies which is targeted more to high 3nd conductive targets, Multi 2 which is a nice medium range , and Multi 3 which is the high end of the Multi-Frequencies which is more targeted towards low conductive targets

@@DuckDetects You may be surprised and you could be on there for a long time, you will start to get deeper targets and maybe older, low and slow and keep hoovering them up.

Set to 5 or 4 still great depth in ground and much more stable. It's VERY sensitive

Silvers usually come up looking like the day they were dropped or made thats why i love getting them so much

Its a good machine but also the triple score what i have keeps up with it no problem

@@DuckDetects I use the D2 my friend runs the triple, when he gets a banging tone and it’s not picking up the iron grunt, I’ll pass over it and it’s a shocking tone and iron VDI and when he digs it, it’s always deep iron, I’m running the legacy program

You will not regret the D2

@DMDC- i run the legacy program as well kinda same i sold my mate my double score but i can here a slight grunt from his machine as he dont use headphones and i know the tones so i dont have go over it, but ive always told him go 90c if he's unsure and then he will hear the grunt, but for deep targets its still a good machine for the price

Luckily i think this events field hasnt gone cashless as when i first got the permission there was a few recent drops right in the surface

It certainly is cant move more than 2m in some areas as the drop rate is that high never seen a field like it and must only be about 2ac if that

@ipfreely9245 its an events field, so it was a recent drop but ive had iver 50 silvers come out of that area so i was shocked see a 5p what wasnt brown

@garyking9623 What settings are you running it on as I've never had a false signal or any issues with it? It runs just as good as my deus 2

@DuckDetects tried every setting combination you can think of and feild tested in plenty of times. Makes no difference regardless what I do.

@garyking9623 is there electric fences about ? There might be a possibility the ground you are on is highly mineralised. Also, is this your first detector?

@DuckDetects no I have been detecting for many years and used multiple machines over the years, including multi frequency machines. I have tested on the field with power lines, no power lines , paddocks with electrical fences, and been on some with the fences turned off . The machine acts in exactly the same way regardless. It appears others are having the same issue as me. We have all tried multiple different settings, and we are all finding that the machine is chatty and giving off false signals. Unfortunately, relic mode can only be used without the headphones as the noise is unbearable.

@garyking9623 sounds like you have a very faulty machine. Have you done any of the machine updates as well online? Mine is quiet and works perfectly
