She really not the correct one to be given this training. Her voice is way to high pitched and never change tone. Cannot focus on what she is saying at all.
Good day Ms Niky This has helped me very much as a new teacher in a new country
Great to hear it, thank you!
No way in the world that I want to work for this person! I am sure that its completely mutual, so its mutually benficial.
Everyone looking forward to the gridlock and highway traffic madness again. We have all seen the reports of Amazon's just-walk-out *technology* and Zoox self-driving *technology* actually being handled by masses of low-cost workers over in India. That 5 day return to office actually means they want 20 percent of the US corporate workers to LEAVE without having to do another round of Layoffs and severance payouts, to be replaced by much cheaper labor in India offices. Good for the 'efficiency' report to shareholders but bad for US workers. Brought to you by the company famous for pey-in-bottles and crying-at-desks. ;-)
There is no doubt the shift around remote work and automation has significant implications for the workforce. The use of remote lower cost labour also contradicts a lot of the argument around bringing economic growth back into the central cities so it will be interesting to see how this all shapes up. I for one am not excited about the traffic coming back to work!

Or just pay more. Literally the only thing i care about at work is the size of my paycheck and having enough people that im not overwhelmed. Pay solves both these issues.
Yep, fair enough money does go along way, unfortunately it’s not always an option but I hear you!
Hi there! I’ve been blown away by your content-it’s engaging, high-quality, and packed with value! To help you take it to the next level, I can assist with strategies to boost both your video views and subscriber count organically. By optimizing titles, descriptions, and tags, and improving SEO, plus promoting your videos across social media, we can skyrocket your channel's visibility and attract more organic traffic. Let’s work together to grow your reach and make your content shine even brighter!
Why do you sound like a robot.
Haha, it’s probably the way it was cut together (using Opus from the longer video) or could just be me!
100% these are all the signs, I know because I am in the wrong job! I was moved into this role and do not enjoy it one bit!
I’m sorry to hear that! Hopefully you have some options you can explore to try and either keep your interest with some elements of the role or is there an option to return to where you were (not sure of circumstances when you say you were moved into it) or perhaps it’s a needs must and you quietly put together a plan to find something else? Not a nice place to be if you are unhappy
@LeadershipwithNiky well the best option is to switch to another company. Im taking a break before I do, seriously burnt out and i have some savings to last me a year before i need to return to look for work.
It's important to prioritize your well-being, taking a break can give you the space you need to recharge and figure out your next steps. Well done setting yourself up well to enable this. Wishing you the best of luck in your journey!
Sure. I often smile as a way of showing approval. Same goes for laughing. They're usually genuine, but sometimes excessive or redundant. How can an inauthentic smile of laugh have a negative impact?
Hey there, Niky - About! Your leadership content is incredibly inspiring, and I’d love to help amplify your reach even further. I offer complete optimization services, including refining your titles, descriptions, tags, and hashtags. Additionally, I provide off-page SEO, full channel nurturing, and video promotion across social media. These strategies can organically increase your views, subscribers, and visibility, taking your channel to the next level. Best Regards, Rezaul Bari
Nice theory, try that in the public service. Virtually nothing can be done to employees who under perform. Weak Management, due to promotion of the wrong people for years. You reap what you sow😢
Agreed, dealing with poor performance can be tricky, especially when management isn't stepping up. You could try keeping notes to document issues (depending on your role). This can be crucial if it escalates or you do need to reinforce evidence of the underlying performance…
Hi Friend, I hope you are well. Your videos are really nice But I noticed that your channel is not growing according to the quality of your videos. I audited your channel and got some issues. 01. Views Issue 02. SEO Score only 0% 03. No Video High volume ranked tags 04. No Channel tags 05. Keywords in title 0% 06. Performance 0% 07. End screens Low SEO is the most important of any TH-cam Channel ( SEO meaning = Search Engine Optimization )l. if you Solve this problem and Best SEO Score to rank your video then your channel will grow organically very fast.
One more question since i am a fresher hvac engineer - for someone like me who's new in the industry lack of experience in number of years acts as a factor working against me as some people say career growth happens after experience so how to break this myth and create own cycle of success through other skills and unique combination of solutions.. in short what path is suitable for rapid pace growth in career..
What would be some best books to read for career growth at faster pace without being stuck at mediocrity or uncertainty..
I think there are probably a lot but I find sometimes it’s hard to find one book that can fully relate to an individual circumstance so take parts of a lot as it’s so different for everyone depending on vocation, location, preferences, political environment etc etc. It’s an old one but I find it’s still relevant: “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie helps with how to connect with others, influence decisions, and inspire cooperation. “The New Rules of Work: The Modern Playbook for Navigating Your Career” by Alexandra Cavoulacos and Kathryn Minshew has some interesting insight with exercises and recommendations to help advance in your career but it really does depend on where you are at. I think you can get a lot of insight from books and videos perhaps start with the end in mind (yes Stephen Covey - another great book - 7 habits of highly effective people) as it will help if you can bridge between where you want to be and where you are at so you can identify the gaps to build skills etc and hopefully get their faster…
@@LeadershipwithNiky Thanks a Ton !! 💚
Mam where does Power lies in the Corporate settings/office apart from owner or boss and how can employee/engineers attain it working for their organization without being dependent on number of years of experience in that organization.. internal politics does play a big role in decision making so how to master those rules of modern work and make it work in favor...
My personal opinion from my experience is that it starts with earning respect in your position - showing your expertise, supporting your colleagues, being proactive (not presenting problems in isolation but with potential solutions). Politics are a challenge and that’s where leaning into emotional intelligence can help, being able to read people and access situations quickly to help nurture relationships and steer communication. I’m currently filming a few videos on ‘how to read people’ and ‘body language cues’ so if your subscribed to my channel you’ll see them coming up in the next few weeks and hopefully they are of some help!
@@LeadershipwithNiky 😊👍
Interesting analysis !! Could you suggest better ways- if making big money in corporate world as engineer or in general is the only goal which path is the most suitable to adopt and how like earning promotions quicker, climbing ladder etc or remaining in same position ? Also how is it possible for me in initial stage of career to demand promotions or high pay after 6 months or a year by solving any of their major problems.. does any books on creativity or innovation thinking examples work drastically well in advancing rapid growth..
Unfortunately I don’t think there is one sure path to promotion or accelerated career progression. It will depend on the company’s own promotion criteria but if you are exceeding expectations and have tangible outcomes (eg solving major problems and documenting how you individually contributed to this) it can help to align these with the wider organisation’s goals to show even greater impact and proactively doing this can all help increase your chances of promotion. It can also help to have a clear goal you are aiming for with your career which helps create that direction too (which I have created a career blueprint to assist you linked in my bio!). Good luck, unfortunately it can be different for everyone and will depend on the organisation too…
@@LeadershipwithNiky Insightful 😊 Do you believe there are some top books to read for around this topic..
Well, it's your way and if that's working for you, no question then. But, naturally developing relationships can only work if you already have people to develop relationships with. Most don't. So it's crucially important to find the people first.
That’s definitely true, access to people to even build relationships is crucial
Is that your real voice? 🤔
Haha yes!
I remember the first time that all eyes turned towards me for "the answer". Yeah, isolated, vulnerable, and alone really describes the feeling at that moment. I've learned that with experience has come confidence. All eyes still turn my direction, from my staff, my work peers, and even all the way up to officers of the corporation on rare occasions, for my leadership in my area of expertise. And I can confidently lead because I'm intimately familiar with the subject and "know what I'm talking about". And when I don't have the answer, because of my network of contacts, I can find someone that does. This is a good video Niky. Great subject rarely covered.
Thanks Bill! Appreciate your comments and pleased to hear you enjoyed the video
the perks of your teammates or employees being your friends do not exist. As much as it's comfortable to be one big happy family, there is going to be a moment when you have to put your foot down, for whichever reason. This is where all the happy hippy commune is going to crash and burn.
Yes, unfortunately, it’s true!
Im 66 years old and have seen a lot of changes in the workplace. A transition from an adult, mature, respectful place to high school. I'm counting the months until retirement.
Congratulations on your upcoming retirement and thanks for your comment, appreciate it
Niky, first off, new subscriber here. Second, this is a video that all managers, supervisors, etc. should view. I've been in various management positions (i.e. leadership) since the mid-1980's and I currently manage an international team of people in the U.K. and the United States. I've learned a lot over the years, but the most important is that it is the people that make a manager successful. A good leader is one who has the success of their individual workers at heart is the one that have the most dedicated teams. A position of authority doesn't automatically mean leadership. I don't have to be my team's best friend, but I do need to have their best interest, along with that of the organization, in the forefront of my mind. When the individual succeeds, so does the company.
Thanks Bill, appreciate the subscribe and I agree, great comment thanks
Well, I'm glad there are some experienced people not afraid to talk the truth. I really have problems developing leaders who went all friendship.
Thanks for your comment, it’s definitely a challenge!
you look like my math teacher so like and subscribe (jk: the vid was really good)
Haha, I’ll take it as a win!
Your video is very good. The editing is excellent. Everything is good, but your videos lack SEO, so they are not reaching a wide audience. If you want, I can do SEO for your videos to help boost your channel.
Get comfortable being uncomfortable.😂

If you're the manager you have to solve EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM. If I have to do your job for you then I want your salary on top of mine. Stop being lazy and stop being a shit manager. Do. You. Job. That is what you're paid for. If you're not there to manage and solve problems then what the fuck are you getting paid for? Pay me your salary on top of mine and then I'll do your job on top of mine.
