Can we purchase if we are on Eastern time where we live?
Hello! We enroll students from all 50 states and all around the world, so timezones do not matter. Your student would have 24/7 access to our curriculum and can form their own schedule. Once per week, they will meet with their assigned mentor teacher in a live zoom meeting to review their work. Should you like more information, please check out our website at calvaryonlineschool.com. Thank you! CPA Admin

Congratulations to all the 8th Grade CPA students! Numbers 6:24-26 New International Reader's Version 24 “May the Lord bless you and take good care of you. 25 May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. 26 May the Lord look on you with favor and give you peace.”
I am sure you are well intentioned, but while you state "the bible says" you do not reveal the reference or read/show any specific verses. I find this disappointing. Biblical leaders should be showing the children where to go in the Word to find the balm that they seek...the only Truth to help them see Christ working in their lives. A devotional is not meant to be a pep talk, but a way to draw near to God by looking at His promises and letting the Holy Spirit minister to us through God's words, not our own. We are looking into this school and thought we'd look at a few other videos by the school to see if there are any red flags. To be fair, I will look at more as my hope is you do typically use scripture, and this video is just an oversight. I would not have my children invest time in devotionals that do not read/show the verse(s) that the devotional is based upon.
Hi Paula, thank you for your comment. Our staff all have open doors, so any time a student has a question, they can follow up. In this case, they may ask for a deeper understanding of a biblical reference. Interestingly, the usage of verses doesn't originate with the Bible, it comes from the Masoretic text, about 900 years after the Bible was written. In the Bible itself, authors regularly make broad references, such as when Jesus said, "If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me" (John 5:46). Jesus often referred to Moses in general, as they didn't have verses. He also used a broad phrase "It is written" (Mt. 4:4) without specifying the author or book, and certainly not the chapter or verse as these didn't exist). The author of Hebrews is even less specific. He writes "there is a place where someone has testified..." Hebrews 2:6. The Bible is full of references to "the Law and the Prophets" and in the historical books of the Old Testament such as 1 Kings 14:29, the authors regularly reference "written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah" and likewise "...the kings of Israel." It's actually quite biblical to reference Bible passages without the verses. But of course, now we have verses available they are a helpful tool. If there's ever a question, just ask!

Absolutely answered prayers 🙏🏽❤️ This school.
What a wonderful story of obedience, perseverance, faith, and trust in God.... Boldness and courage are the extreme in this story. I had the privilege of seeing pastor Joseph speak at Calvary chapel lone mountain Las Vegas on two services and meeting his beautiful wife Maria and getting a warm gracious, kind hug from her. I was overwhelmed by their story and the book. I encourage all of you who read this text to please buy their book and pass them on because we live in such a time as this which necessary to gear up and be prepared by the Word of God in boldness by committing your whole heart to the Lord. May God continue to bless Joseph & Maria and their children and their grandchildren with many more opportunities to preach the gospel and bring the light into dark places. Jesus is the light!...and the way, he's the truth, ...Jesus is life.... The only way to the Father is through Christ Jesus 🙏🙌🙌🙌🤓🤗❤️ John 14:6
The Gospel: Plain and Simple “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3 Ask someone today if they are saved and you will most likely hear responses like these: “I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually knows the gospel that saves them. These useless phrases don’t describe a thing about what the gospel is and has left a devastating effect of people not knowing what it is that they are saved from nor how they are saved; which leaves a more serious effect of people questioning their salvation. Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ with vague church sounding phrases that do not communicate anything. But rather present God’s word with clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel: plain and simple. Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all unrighteousness and those who follow get indignation and wrath. We cannot be found righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. It is for this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus 3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross 2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath and judgement that was intended for us sinners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial, and resurrection on our behalf that we are able to have peace with God and forgiveness of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good news is unto all but only those that believe in it are made righteous in Christ (Romans 3:22). It is then after we have heard this good news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and we are now part of Christ’s body the church (Eph 1:13) There is nothing that we need to do, no good works that are required, and no bad works that can separate us from our new position in Christ (Romans 8:35-39). Faith and belief in this information from God’s word is the gospel. The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your heart. The gospel is not making him lord of your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not being baptized with water. So next time someone asks you if you are saved. Give them the clear assured answer Yes And let me tell you why Find more free resources at www.graceambassadors.com

@@jeannerichardson5098 I miss you too! :-(
I’d like to enroll my children, but the tuition is pretty steep for an online school.
Our tuition is actually well below the market value for the level of service we provide. Most online schools are merely curriculum providers. We do have a lesser priced independent study program that is similar to what other online schools offer. Take a look at this comparison chart to see the differences in services and features. calvaryonlineschool.com/programs/programs-offered/
Can we enroll any time throughout the year?
Yes, we have an open enrollment track, yet we mostly follow a traditional fall/spring/summer schedule. We can customize enrollments for individual students as well.
