Oh my lord look at that outfit........ugly sweater night......
Sometimes they need the eggs for health reasons. They eat eggs to get the nutrients they need.
Is this your first rodeo or have you done this a few times? I'm no expert, but will that chicken coop stand after a hurricane? I really like the effort you're putting into protecting the animals-applause for that! 👏🏼
@@KF_272 the coop has hurricane straps on the rafters,3/4 plywood on walls and sub floor, 3’ anchors in the ground. Not sure what wind it will withstand but I would hope it will be there after a hurricane.
It's great that you're trying to take care of your animals, but storm shelters don't do anything if you get 15 ft of flood waters.
@@ryefry we are a few miles from storm surge!!
Uhhh. Won't the water just get spilled when that trough blows away followed by the entire chicken coop???? You shoulda just freed them so that they had a chance to get away instead of trapping them inside the coop to drown???
@@whoever_you_want_me_to_be thanks!
Lots of hard work! Nice shutters!
@@TriciaSutton-y1f thank you!
Why do some brown eggs🥚 have 2 yolks 🍳 when i was younger my grandpa would get them all the time
@@carriesunday5581 any chicken egg can be double yoke. But we seem to get more double yokes when the chickens are in there first year of laying. My understanding is that some chickens at times will drop two yokes rather than one while producing the egg.
Nice!
@@alexandraorlowski1928 thanks!
No one cares about animals in storms it always breaks my heart, i love that you even thought of this
@@Meaganureeves animals are like our kids!!
So smart to think about water ahead of time and protecting them all!
@@amen3914 thank you
Are they gonna go swimming?😂
@@Henshack_diaries they may decide to swim!!
So what happens if you get a flood? Can any of them escape so that they wouldn't drown or would you guys be able to get to them quick enough?

What Dewalt drill model is that? DCD791?
What size is the allen key? I tried many and don't work.
Question I am trying to do that but staples not going in the wood some type of pressure treated, any way was thinking if I left the edge up and take ground staples and tread it on both sides of the coop, what do you think we have possum, skunks and fox.
So what stops them from just digging deeper?
@@VanillaCoke64oz the hardware cloth keeps them from digging.

If that's an indoor fan and not an industrial/construction/barn fan it may catch fire!!! Please be careful!!!!
Sister, God and Saviour Jesus Christ came to Earth to forgive our sins by Dying for our sins , taking the punishment we deserve and died for us and on 3rd day after His Death He rose again and calls everyone to repent and believe the Good news of Christ of Repentance and Forgiveness of Sins and be the part of His Heavenly Kingdom . All are directed towards hell due to sin , so please come to Him who can Save you from the eternal hell. Repent and belive the Gospel and Believe in The only True God Jesus Christ , for there is no other way and no other God .God loves you.
95 degrees? Thats it? Thats nice weather where am at
For the chickens though it is probably way more hot. Due to feathers depending on the chicken. While they can regulate body heat. The coop might get stuffy/hot.
And what was the predator?
Chicken hawk.
Dude your chickens are living the life our pen is not that big 😭😭😭😭😭
My wife spoils them!!
This technique works. Use either chicken wire or what I use, the 1/4” wire cloth mesh.
Thanks for you comment
Is that oil from the throttle body?😂
Nope that’s why you need concrete to keep an eye on oil leaks!!
Don't worry they don't eat the same food so no competition. Means they can be friends.
I’m using this idea for my outdoor tortoise enclosure since he digs. Thanks!
Sounds great!
What my dog would do to that chicken……..
We worked with our dog for a while. He eats with them now lol.
