The pump on mine isn’t working day one. Had a full bucket of water after first day.

Not the water filter, my pump shows green light on but not pumping water out. Instead bucket fills up.

I have 3 kids 3 jobs and bought this brand new 2 years ago. Last summer it stopped pumping. I have just too many things to trouble shoot this . I was snaking the the tube thinking it was clogged then I just sat down watched this video and fixed it in 10 minutes. Big thanks

Hey clean that bucket with almost anything to get that biofilm out of there. It’s breeding bad to horrible stuff the fan is spreading around so that gets in you and kids lungs hair eyes, etc. Even windex works or vinegar and if bleach is okay on this plastic dilute and make sure you rinse it out a lot so it won’t evaporate up into your machine and attack and kill its parts. Has the 12V battery ever been replaced? I have a 2017 still on the original 12V accessory battery. Since there is no engine to crank, a weak battery can create all sorts of trouble codes that are false, but signs of a weak battery. I would start there! Take the car to an Autozone or car parts store, and have the 12V battery checked. If it checks out ok, then they can put a scan tool on to read the codes to find out what's going on.

After SO long clunking down the road in my ‘17 Bolt I finally discovered this video. Ordered the GM part and replaced it today. It absolutely solved my clunking and was absolutely not that hard to do. Took me 45 minutes and I’m a total amateur. THANK YOU for posting this video!

This gentleman changed his filters way too soon. They do a year or 100,000 gallons. Nobody does that much in a month or two. Watch the pressure.

Need to press the red buttons to release pressure before removing filter. It won't leak.

I always clean that little filter. But I have an E9 code. I called them and they said it is the sensor and to throw it out and get a new one.

Systems maintaining battery temp. BMW i3, Fiat 500e (electric) do this. It sounds a little like something's broken, but it's normal. Battery may be warmer after you've just been driving, you can let it cool down before you plug-in, but it's not necessary. Batteries put off heat when outputting energy (driving) or charging.

Drill and tap a sample valve into the bottom of the filter bowl, you can drain the housing before removal. Not sure if there is enough room unless it’s mounted to the wall

Whoa! I drove my Chevy bolt today for about 150 miles and immediately plugged in when I got home. I came back outside about five hours later. It was pretty much charge back up to full, but was making that awful sound just like in this video. I totally freaked.

Wait did you say you only had that filter system for a month? And you're already replacing them? They are supposed to last for 50k for the mineral one and 100k gallons for the others I thought? They really only need to be replaced if you're losing water pressure which is why they have those gauges..
