The competition was so cut throat back in those days. The fact that she clipped her foot on the uneven bars, had a less than perfect beam exercise, and carried over a 9.55 from optionals and still managed to grab an all around medal shows us just how great she was. She was one of the best all around gymnasts to never win a major all around title (other than the Europeans six months prior to this.)

De ce atunci gimnastele erau atat de subțirele, iar acum sunt atat de corpolente? E clar ca e nevoie de alt tip de antrenamente.

Daca antrenorii și coregrafii ar fi ales o musica pentru sol mai placuta si care sa motiveze mai mult pe micuta gimnasta, ar fi fost mult mai placut pt spectatori si arbitri si poate mult mai stimulant pt gimnasta.
