Humans don't desire perfect order. When we impose it upon ourselves in the form of lifestyle-dictatorship, we rebel against our own inner forces and fall back into the chronic self soothing habits that keep us physically comfortable but spiritually starved. Solutions included in video: - When introducing new lifestyle systems, do NOT use them as a means to punish yourself for past behaviors. (I...

so , what happens if shame and violence against me works for changing? like i always insult me, punish myself, etc for not doing good habbits and this worked so much i sarted working out, got a scholarship in my uni, dress better, eat better, sleep 8h , play piano and guitar and all of other stuff that improves my life (starting doing that like 3 yrs ago). like now i hate myslef and stuff , and im kinda suicidal . but it actually works, very much. so now i dont know how to get out of it, any advice? (therapy doesnt work on me, tried it 4 times)

I don't "do" social media. I only have it for my business but do not use it other than that. That disconnect is amazing and I started doing this 4 years ago. Start doing little bits of quiet time with no distractions. Slowly delete socials off your phone. Its a process and you can't go cold turkey on it, but it's important to start

Recently I had to get rid of social media because of how much negativity there was that had been impacting my real life. After doing so, I realized that not only have I been more active with my own hobbies, but I felt happier not dealing with the hate spewed from anonymous accounts towards my art. Eventually my attention span had also began to heal, I was shocked at the fact that I was able to watch the full video with no pauses!! I was fully immersed and very intrigued :) That without a doubt is to say that this was a very good video on your part!! I know it may sound kind of weird of me (?) to be proud of being able to watch 30 minutes of a youtube video, but it truly means a lot to me in my progress to no longer being sucked in by quick dopamine content Another add on is that I was able to watch a full season of an anime yesterday, which is something I had been struggling to do so for two years now </3 There is still much chaos in my real life, but without the unnecessary chaos of the internet, I can be more in control of me ! ^_^

can you please talk about how to deal with the sense of overwhelm from how much you have to do, the inevitable creeping realization that you can't possibly accomplish all tasks in the allotted time frame since youve wasted so much time already (why bother if you cant get it to 100 amirite ) and how hard it is to take a step with this flimsy barrier of self compassion just enough to get started with work but ever not enough as it'll reliably come crumbling down with overpouring self hatred the moment shit goes south. Help

But I already read a book today (a short one), and did the laundry, and did the dishwasher twice. The only thing that remains to be done is to write my own book.

Really good video. Though it isn’t a large problem, around halfway through I thought “This camera angle is a bit interesting, him looking down on us like an authority figure.” I haven’t seen any other videos, but judging from the thumbnails it seems like your camera angle is normally more level so that you are looking at us straight on rather than the slight downward angle present in this video. My inclination is to say that that straight on eye contact is likely better for the viewer, so that you appear to come to us as a peer sharing information rather than an authority instructing us of something to do. Great video regardless though

great video man:) happiness itself is resistance. you may feel helpless against everything that's pitted against you by the system, but your joy IS defiance. that's what they want to take from you-- the ability to find meaning in yourself, rather than turning to consumption. yes, you need to be outraged at what is happening so that you can fight, but never fall into the despair they want you in
