Too bad they don’t mention that those yellow all in one restraint systems are only big enough for manual wheelchairs! Scooters and electric wheelchairs cover up the hooks!

@3:09 the elongated wheelchair passenger still had to use both sections of the bus to turn around in order to exit. Didn't show it either. I don't like the Quantum because the ADA passenger is facing the rear of the coach and in the event of a broadside collision, the passenger can still tip over and can suffer injury.

Yeah great if the bus gets into an accident the chair will be secure but the passenger will go flying because I don’t see any of these passengers wearing safety belts and on top of that they’re not even a facing in the proper direction. 🙄

So when approaching a stop the driver has to put his or her coach in park, hit the neutral button and proceed to secure the coach before the quantum will work. A lot of drivers forget to do this and then says it doesn’t work.

Is there anywhere you can buy the bracket online that you need? The dealerships wanted $300 and $700 just for the bracket, alone. I bought the Q-Straint QLK-150 on ebay for $450 and then $20 shipping. It looks fairly new, and the ad said it was only used a few weeks, then the person passed away. Anyway, I purchased it to avoid paying around $2,000 for the new system from the dealership. But then, now, these other charges seemed crazy. I expected $200 installation, but I never expected what they want for the bracket. Please help and let me know if there are any cheaper alternatives!

Appears to be a very good system. Except that ALL wheelchairs should be facing forward.
