This was wonderful and have been wanting to do Hallet in the winter. Do you remember what time of year this was and the weather?!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! This hike was at the end of November. I used snowshoes for part of it, but it wasn't necessary. My recollection is that the weather was relatively good.

Thanks! I do use GoPro, and edit with DaVinci, which makes it relatively easy.

is this where the cartoon is based? As a British person i prefer this type of America.
Actually, yes! The trail is located just a few miles north of a valley known as South Park, which I understand the cartoon is based on. One end of the trail overlooks the valley.
@@coloradohikingchannel2810to someone like me i need green hills like my home. Colorado has that but its also a Southern USA state so is warmer in summer and brighter in winter than my home. Less overcrowding. I prefer it to flat parts of USA.
What would you rate this hike on a scale of 1-10?
That all depends on what you value in a hike. This one doesn't go to any peaks but offers multiple lakes and, this time of year, beautiful wildflowers. Crowds are minimal compared with some other nearby hikes, as well. I'd give it a 9 if you go in late summer.
What was the altitude of this one?
Thanks for your interest; Mount Parnassus is 13,580; Bard Peak is 13,647.
