Anyone noticed that the bath taps are not fitted at 1:54 because if they were - the strip would not fit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw that!
What the hell do women know about tiling a bathroom…give me a break.I never take any advice from a woman were construction is a concern.
What a bellend.
Link?
Thought it was an episode of Star Trek there! 🤣
This is soooo old fashioned! People just use sealant now.
Very useful and clear instructions, thanks.
Where can you buy this from please?
why didn't you do it tonthe end of the bath you left an annoying gap
why did you not tile down onto the bath? and why did you not fill the bath with water prior to fitting the bead
Do you fill the bath?
Where do I order this kit
Brilliant thank you so much.
Foogi…. Mmkay..
You are a saver ,god I finally found the best option
Can I use this on top of tub/shower insert?
This was complicated. Im looking for sealant tape instead.

foogie?
What if the taps are already on? Gets a bit tricky, eh?
Use a adjustable nozzle can rotate 360 degree
Where can i buy those strips
you should do it with the bath tub filled with water
Very smart
Why
@@seemaab The weight of the water can cause the bath to drop by a few mm, so if you do it without filling the bath, the first time someone runs a bath the sealant will come away from the strip and cause water ingress.
Stephen Singletary oh makes sense thanks. Can’t we just use silicone with the bath filled instead of using the plastic strip?
@@seemaab I don't see why not from a practical standpoint, it will still seal the area, but it all depends on the gap to be filled, for instance I have an old cast Iron bath which is beveled on the edges, so the gap between bath and tile is quite substantial, so just to fill it with silicone won't look good, with the 20mm bead I would need haha.
then you fill the bath, get in and BOOM! your seal breaks
Where can we buy it?
Got ours on ebay @@wajid6502
exactly!
Why is this only in UK
Still a bugger to find ; )
Missed a trick here! Where's the purchase link ? I for one, would have purchased the above shown kit straight a way!!
Me too, i am going into google meltdown trying to find this stuff especially those end caps i never knew that they existed.
Very useful, thank you. 🙇 I bought my sealant strip today, which i shall be installing over the weekend tomorrow.
How are your results?
@@turtlewalzer Fantastic solid, it really works well it's still doing its job today, and it's simple & easy to do.
where can you get this strip??
well don
where can we buy this?
