You have highlighted problems of existing airport, but it can be improved if we have strategic planning. This parandur airport is completely disconnected from the main city. Even if parandur helps to clear the incoming and outgoing passengers in a short time, but it is going to take heavy time to and fro airport to city and vice versa. Also, this parandur will destroy the ecology of that area, and real estate mafia will ensure to destroy surrounding area of paradure. Totally it is a disastrous.

Its advisable to live where you belong to. Its becoming totally worthless to immigrate to any other foreign country, especially a country like Canada.

Can build airport in parandur but yes keeping in mind the asset loss for the ppl and the compensation to be given But I guess this gov is not capable of pulling this plan They r just planning to loot money and no postive signs to ppl The bus stand built also idk how effectively it changed the ppl life I guess it became negative only ! So same like that building airport will definitely take another 5-7 yrs time and what ever political change might happen and end of the day ppl will be seen suffering or get used to whatever it is that stage 😌

They can invest those 20-30k crores on common people well being programs like Chennai flood management etc .. one those are done they can go for airport project .. these are just airport management issue .. coz of this existing airport or building new one there won’t be no difference for common people .. and coz of the new airport only those going aerplanes will benefit .. Soo priority is chennai flood management projects metro etc only not this airport

very less international flights compared to Bangalore and Hyderabad, less choices and economic options for travellers with just Meenambakkam alone serving in the years ahead, high time a new airport is necessary.

Rising EV industries and the future anticipated demand should definitely make the New Airport a welcoming one in the future. In the US also if we see, Newark Airport is located few Km Away from New York Airport but both are serving greatly. In Chennai also, when more connectivity is made available, that will only help and boost the economy.
