I’m wondering: how long will it take to replace *him* with a multi-agent model? I’m into AI, and I know traditional programming will still be relevant for the next 20 years-especially in low-tech countries like Germany, where only about 18% of companies have modern IT systems. It’s so boring. (Yes, my company uses AI, as all modern companies want to take part in the trend.) Are we heading back to farming if we feel unfit or we proof to be unsuccessful? Speaking of NVIDIA, their software stack is a major reason for their high stock price-they’re capitalizing on business momentum and real growth. But who is truly adapting their technology? Can all clients multiply their gross profits? Interestingly, 10 years ago, I was part of an AI project in Switzerland. One key challenge we faced was dealing with AI outliers-wrongly trained data or incorrect outputs affecting the physical world. The world will be divided because of this. Understanding what’s real becomes uncertain. Data has always been controversial, but now, with AI influencing the physical world, it’s an intense form of manipulation that raises questions: who is right, the human or the computer? This shift will likely be a hotspot for conflicts at a very social level.

We have the technology to supply the energy that we need. The only problem is greed. For example. There was a guy back in the 1940s by the name of probe (no affiliation with Ford) (it’s called. The probe theory) this person made a device that you connect to your carburetor that ran a 1942 Cadillac V 12 off a pint of gas in it ran that vehicle 38 miles. The oil company found out about it after he patented it, and they gave him a pair of cement shoes and tossed him in the ocean. Just think what that would’ve done to the oil companies pockets. We have all the information to make this world better, they just can’t get paid off of it, and control everybody. Take cannabis for example. For a very long time, it was illegal to have. As soon as they found out a way to tax you on it and make money, now it’s being sold in corner stores throughout America. I don’t see why people just don’t use their brains versus acting like sheep. I now understand why there is a very few that lead, and everybody follows. Nowadays, people are dumbasses.

AI is slamming head first into a wall right now, It's improvements are going to be incremental at best. These text completion algorithms trained on data scrapped and stolen from the various internet sources are only as good as the data they are fed. They can improve if have better quality data. But here's the problem. They already stolen everything, There's nothing left to steal and what data that is being created right now isn't getting better, it's getting worse in part due to AI and bots spewing garbage onto the internet. AI training AI is only a good idea if you want to create of infinite loop of stupidity.

We already got this tech bro. This is just a way NVIDIA to skin their AI models to perform certain tasks, something which software developers are already doing with a source LLM, using a RAG system. It's what I and other developers are actively doing. What's the innovation here?

As a software engineer you still need to know what you're doing... UX/UI, Crud API Endpoints, base classes, abstract classes, interfaces, static members, records, dtos, viewmodels, services, middleware, websockets, session variables, cache, cookies, udp/tcp connexions ect... the design of the software is all out of your brain and the AI is just there to answer implementation details Realistically AI writes all my frontend. It's decent at html5, htmx, css, bootstrap and vue.js It writes all my models once I told it what relations I want between what models (1 to 0, 1 to n, n to n) It injects all my services according to my definition and description of the service. I write the methods and business application logic myself. I ask AI to write some test. I remove some of the tests and add some other tests myself. I ask AI if there is anything that could make my code cleaner. I take note, refactor, optimize, rewrite some test or whataver and bim bam boom I've builled an app ! Just learn how to programm and don't sweat or worry about frameworks and implementation details. When the time comes ask AI to implement "X" on Laravel or Gin or .Net or Django or Spring or Node.js and it will implement "X" easy peasy. Your only job is to know what "X" is, what it does, what it requires and why it does. MVC is MVC, ORMs are ORMs, EndPoints are EndPoints, a Request is a Request, Session variables are Session variables, the Cache is the Cache, Pooling is Pooling no matter what framework you are on

LLMs are a nice Excel tools for devs. I don't need to learn intricate details of parts of my system that I don't care so much about but have to be done anyway. But the value adding part I will continue to be doing myself.
