Beautiful indeed! That was also a better turning radius than I expected for the takeoff. After takeoff, did the plane retard to idle for some reason?
i guess i messed up the Vr calculation and i could've rotated sooner, probably,. The throttle to idle was human error, i pulled back the throttle from toga to climb, but didn't heard the detent click, so i kept puliing back until idle then i brought back to the correct clb detent. :)
@@simulabone Got'cha. I'm very unfamiliar with Airbuses, but I do know there's automation everywhere, so I thought the A/T might've pulled power for you for some reason. Thanks for explaining!

So this is DCS -- actually the first time I've ever seen it! As expected, it's a lot crazier than the civilian flying I'm used to!
yeah, military aviation is a bit different, and a bit more heart-pounding when you know that the beep of the rwr might mean "incoming missile at you", but as far as DCS go, this mission was actually pretty chill, no dog fight involved here, fortunately, haha.
PPG livery is so great!! Also, seems your videos are steadily getting more views. :)

I finally got around to finish watching this! Weeks later 😅. It's always nice to see conventional navigation, what made you want to go for that lately instead of GPS?
Wanting to learn and i really like how simple some of the planes are, with the old school gauges instead of glass cockpits, no complex systems to remember, basically a bit of math and "eyes on the needles." :)
