@ I’m a guitarist so no expert , but I think it’s good for pianos then maybe plug an external for organs .. I think for the money it’s a great product .. Nobody gets the mid range of pianos right ..

@@kempsynth2172 1. Turn off the DX11 by pressing the power button. 2. Hold down the [MIDI] and [UTILITY] buttons on the front panel. 3. While holding those buttons, turn the power back on. 4. Continue holding both buttons until the display shows “Factory Reset” or a similar confirmation message. 5. Release the buttons, and the DX11 will reset to its factory settings.

@@peteroppong1171 When using DAWs I always use USB to control midi. What is it you’re trying to do?

@keybreakthrough Greetings.... I wish to use the Yamaha CK 61 as a SOUND MODULE that has MIDI CHANNELS. Not a controller to transmit CC messages... even though it can.

@@EarMindHand thanks for watching, I think that feature would be similar to a seamless sound transition feature. To my knowledge, the off button acts as a Killswitch or a mute.

@@keybreakthroughThanks for your reply! I wish the Yamaha would have that feature. In Roland Fantom and Juno D series, the sound of each layer would not be cut off until the sustain pedal is released which is very good in sound transition.

Yes, this should work with the Korg Liano as well.

@@keybreakthrough Thanks ! and such settings can be projected in external speakers while playing on Korg ? I heard in a video that if a phone/tab is connected to Liano, the sound will not be projected to speakers/amps. Is that right ?

@@caterpillar1604 the Liano USB port handles both audio and MIDI. So the iPad sound can come through the board speakers or headphone output.

and should I add two layer on it? or only base on one layer is ok

@@makato.katomio my favorite piano to use on the CK is the CFX stereo. Another good one is the U1. I usually just cut down the reverb a little. Maybe I’ll make a video on my favorite piano setting.

Hello, there is a knob on the panel in the filter section for cutoff.

@@doordedeur the CK has a lower sound fidelity probably due to lower quality audio converters than its more expensive brothers (YC & Montage). Playing live you would hardly notice it but in a studio environment you can hear the difference.

@Cazarace thank you, I recommend the CK for anyone looking for a professional but cost-effective stage keyboard. If you want a realistic piano feel get the 88 key. Because oh it’s ease of use. It’s also a good starter keyboard, but there are less expensive starter keyboards.

@keybreakthrough i just want to see your take on it because the only comparison i saw is cfx from clavinova cvp909 vs the garritan cfx. And considering from what i have read so far that the ck series yamahas have cfx as default piano, i think that would be a worthy head-to-head.
