Yes, everyone, Jinx could absolutely have used shimmer speed to dodge Vi's attack. But that wouldn't have worked. Trying to evade Vi's attack would communicate an expectation of, and a willingness to, fight. Jinx had no intention of fighting Vi, and not resisting proves that to Vi. It's why she listens at all.

This is jot “without music” it is with “music pitches removed” which alters silcos voice

The best part of this is that jinx didn’t even try to seem slightly normal by breaking into her sister’s room, despite everything that her and vi have gone through. And it’s like oh yes jinx writing your name on your fucking cheek is gonna make you seem pretty normal even though you haven’t seen your sister and how long? It was just so funny to me. I’m like that literally is something she do.😂
