Alpine skier for 40 yrs, going to try next year it just looks so fun. What binding should I go for. I have some k2 wayback 106, scarpa tx pro boots. I plan on 95% resort 5% backcountry

hey, I wanted to try out telemarking, the only twin tip ski I currently have is the new Line Chronic 94 is it worth mounting a Rottefella Freeride onto it or should I get a new pair of skis?
Mount ‘em. You shouldn’t have too much of a problem regardless of the ski you’re using. I’ve found that directional skis allow you to fully complete the turn where twin tips are a bit more pivoty and might kick out toward the end of the turn (not necessarily in a bad way). Not too much different than alpine turns in that respect. Let us know how it goes!
Actually got the BMF/Rs now instead of the Rottefellas (got a really good deal on em), I'll see how it goes when I hit the slopes again :)

Have you tried NTN? I’m on BD01s as well but just about to get new skis and considering pulling the trigger on NTN outlaws, and new TX pros.
I know Ben has tried NTN, but there’s just about no chance he switches. He’s got those BD01 settings dialed in over the years and he’ll be a holdout until the end. He’s basically doomsday prepping with duck bills and BD01 spare parts haha
