To add side spin we have to hit the ball on the lower side of the string and not the center of the string bed? Can you clarify more on how to generate side spin?

@@circuitdesign Hi~Thank you for the comment. It depends on situation. Optimal stance is semi open. But you can take neutral, open or over open stance also. So more important thing is how fast you perceive and turn for the ball. Thanks.

Great lesson about hitting the ball on rise. Whenever i proactively moving into the court to take the ball early i have better control of the game as supposed to waiting the ball to bounce up and hit when its coming down.

Yeah. The straight left to right doesn’t happen in true kick serves like the pros. I’ve played with this for years and found the easiest way is to simply toss the ball at a 45 degree angle slightly above your head. Then just stay sideways while the racquet approaches at same angle and do left to right with pronation. Easy kick

Thanks to comment. Tennis has a lot of risk for injury. More over supination can occur small injury. But if you know and utilize proper ways what you need it, you can minimise and execute it more efficiently. Thanks.

It’s kind of the mirror image of the forehand. For topspin, you dial your racket closed a bit or a lot, depending on what you like. You also dial it closed with your backhand. When I first did this, my first shots hit the bottom of the net until I got used to the new angle, but now I get top spin.
