I took the cap off the top of the governor and turned the engine over till the allen showed up through the too hole. No fuel spill and truck fired right up

Awesome truck! Love the sound I have a 98 12v with the 17” fte, sounds great and does a good job quieting down the drone. I have a full exhuast and plan on going to a stack though. I just don’t think it’s cool drowning the right lane with black smoke when I get on it. Plus I like the simplicity too.

I am doing some research. Please can anyone help me? I am trying to find out about engine exhaust filters. Am I right in thinking that these filters remove particle matter from exhaust fumes before the fumes are released? How much particle matter will they remove from the waste fumes? Can the residue be collected so as to dispose of it in an environmentally safe way? (i.e. if it is burned, does that not negate the release of the particles anyway? If it is collected, can the residue be used to make ink - for example, is it carbon? can the collected carbon be used to make into something useful?) I know there are a lot of questions here, but any help anyone can give including the product manufacturers or designers would be extremely valued. I am conducting some research in order to put forward a case for mandatory exhaust filteration systems to be used nationwide in the hope of protecting and maintaining a cleaner air supply.
