Why Is Ireland's Housing Crisis Never-Ending
The Fight for Affordable Homes. Ireland is facing a severe housing crisis that has left thousands without affordable homes. Skyrocketing property prices, lack of social housing, and the influx of short-term rentals have made it increasingly difficult for people to find a place to live. Young adults are particularly affected, with many forced to live with their parents well into their 30s due to unaffordable mortgages. The situation has escalated to the point where even refugees are struggling to find shelter, resorting to sleeping in tents.

For everyone blaming migrants for their problems instead of facing the fact that they’ve been tolerating the same issues for over 40 years-who exactly are you talking about? Canada receives migrants from all over the world. If your focus is only on non-white migrants, it says a lot about the underlying racism that exists here, even if some people choose to ignore it. Meanwhile, in other countries, like many in Europe, people don’t wait decades to speak out-they take action. But here in Canada, we tend to sit back, stay quiet, and accept it. Funny, isn’t it?

@@brianting1342 Which migrants are you referring to? Are you singling out non-white migrants? Let’s face it: blaming them for longstanding issues that have existed for over 30 years is just deflecting responsibility. It’s time to stop hiding behind scapegoats and acknowledge that many of us work hard, pay our taxes, and contribute to this country just like everyone else. If your focus is solely on certain groups, it’s revealing more about your biases than it does about the actual problems at hand

Sorry Enoch, God does not exist. The bible is a book of fables. And somehow if there is a war most of the time some utterly backward believe system is involved. This starts with denying the right of minorities. Who the hell are you to deny a person by hers/his chosen name. Guess what: you are against abortion, you want to “heal” gays? You want a daily prayer in public schools? If something is law, you can do two things: be genereus and keep the law, or go to jail and lose your job. As an Irish citizen, I am annoyed that I have to see the Burke's continually refuse to accept that their narrow minded views are not acceptable. Even a Church of Ireland meeting was disruption by their nonsense. They will arrive at any event and create noise, then the Gardai have to be called to remove them as there presence is unwanted, event the Ploughing Champions are not safe with this lot. The Burkes unruly behaviour is costing the Tax paying public thousands of euros every year. I think it's time they were charged every time they have to be removed from events, they are costing us money.

I know a lot of people like me are looking to leave the UK after graduating due to the lack of prospects, opportunities and lack of perks to living in the UK.
