Not difficult in and of itself; in fact, one the first in repertoire given to a student to learn. But learning it, and playing it in context with full orchestra is an entirely different challenge. Thus rendition is OK, obviously an early stage rehearsal, with the conductor counting out the subdivisions, it could be greatly Improved by allowing more sensitivity and dynamic balance during the interchanges with the clarinet and strings, setting up the entrance of the oboe and bassoon as the theme is passed off to the strings.
