Teri I checked your channel for an example, and I didn't see one. Can you please post a video of a heartfelt testimony without notes? Praying for your encouragement.

I served as the Training Coach for a large Celebrate Recovery Ministry. I report that fact because I know that the Celebrate Program REQUIRES all testimonies to be read exactly from a prepared script. It is my opinion that Deanna absolutely was sincere in sharing her journey from hopelessness to a life filled with redemption with Christ as the center of her life. I have heard hundreds of testimonies and rank Deanna's as being in the top five.

Yes Terri, CR requires us to read from the paper that we have spent hours on preparing. Trust me I’ve shared my story hundreds of times without a script and actual prefer it but in CR I follow the guidelines placed, I trust the process, and I’ve come to realize that although cr testimony’s are read they are still all the more powerful because Gods transformative power is in them! Hope you can see that... one day🤞🏼.

@@Mumsy_Soap you can go to any secular AA/NA speaker meeting and see them there, I’ve gotten to speak there without notes many many times but unfortunately they do not record it because it’s an anonymous program.

Thank you Deanna! Today was my first CR meeting in Calhoun,Ga and it will not be my last. To anyone who is moaning about her reading from a page, all testimonies should be prepared , you don’t wanna wing it when it comes to salvation and recovery. Also check out Richard O Cobb’s testimony on Facebook, he is the International Director for CR and his is powerful as well!
