Ok if I have a green and black leo line but I mix it with my green and yellow leomon line would that be a problem
If you're talking about the EX5 line, they're meant to be used together so go for it.
There should be a keyword for a card having every effect in the game like magnamonx It has blocker/reboot/unaffected by everything/gains atk/and more
But there is huge powercreep now with cards like magnamonx winning you the game on its own!
This is a really nice overview, I especially appreciate the examples shown to make the mechanics click. Some of these keywords seem a bit overly convoluted in terms of description and flavor and the special cases (such as overclock allowing you to attack with suspended Digimon) seem a bit arbitrary, I wish it flowed a bit better together so you could more easily intuit what is happening. Overall though it's impressive how much card manipulation you can draw out from this game using keywords alone, it's very cool in that sense.

I believe a blocker can suspend even if it is the target of the attack, assuming it is able to suspend of course.
Unfortunately no, you can only use Blocker if the attack will actually be redirected. So you can't use it if the blocker is already targeted, or if the attacker can't be redirected for whatever reason.
Ah mb I was working off old information. That is interesting tho as other effects let you do as much of an effect as possible it's almost like the redirect is the cost rather than the suspension.
Just have to say that the quality of your videos is very, very good. Was kind of dumbstruck to see you have 5 videos on your channel, yet it's like you've been doing it for years. Keep up the great work, already my favorite digimon tcg youtuber!

I totally agree, I've been thinking about it for a while actually. Specifically green and yellow have had a lot of development, and I think I could have been more efficient with some of my phrasing as well. Will have to wait until after the next video at least but it's on my list.

I started playing this incarnation of the Digimon TCG near the beginning and stuck with it for a few sets, but eventually fell off after a little while (as increasing prices, lacking availability of products and no digital simulator made keeping up with the game more difficult). In attempting to come back into the game, being struck with all the new key words has made it quite daunting; so I'm really grateful that your video has everything explained clearly, concisely and with relevant examples - its really useful! Moreover, taking time to explain the battle steps before going through the key words really helped with being able to place when certain effects come into play. Back when I was playing originally, you'd just suspend, attack and resolve things in whichever way without much concept of the proper timing. Trying to learn about effects that can trigger during "counter timing" has been a real challenge up until now since I haven't seen anyone really break that down in any detail. So thank you for that. I'll look forwards to the rest of this series and I'll be sure to post any questions along the way, as I'm sure I would probably want confirmation on this or that. Thanks again! Great video.

Legit down to little details like me not knowing which archetype I might want to try first, then seeing the Loogamon line in your videos and going "that looks sick as hell, guess I'll try that one" haha. I just wish thwre was a damn game or test version of the game so I can get a better feel of the game , it’s so cool but there’s no local presence where I live and I usually only understand half of what a video explains . This video was very clear though so it’s very appiecated .

There's also the dcgo SIM which has an engine that can give you bumpers for figuring out what you can or cant do. Full automation doesnt necessarily build good habits for playing in paper, but i learned a thing or two with how some interactions work on dcgo. ( I should also note, there are some bugged interactions on dcgo that dont work as intended, so there are some moments where a card wont do what it says it should do or the game misses some effects.)

7:44 i thought De-Digivolve must Stop when you reach a Level 3 Digimon? The Cards that have the Ruling printet on them like Ex1-053 MetalEtemon at least say so. Did they Changed it?
I'm not sure what your question is? I said that De-digivolve stops when it hits a level 3 twice in the video.
That timestamp refers to a stack without a level 3, for example a stack with levels 6, 5, 4, and 2. If that stack were to be hit with de-digivolve 3 it would go all the way down to level 2 since there is no level 3 to stop at, and then the level 2 would be deleted by game rule for not having DP.

12:31 it’s actually not exactly useless. It is useful to use Evade on P-140 Megakabuterimon. MKabu has Evade and when it is suspended, it is unaffected by your opponents card effects. This does shed negative DP effects from your opponents card, preventing the deletion
But that is a property of MegaKabuterimon specifically. Not Evade in general. Evade the keyword does not safe you from -dp.
About having 0 security check the rule says that you can’t attack the player even if he has no security, so you’re wrong about saying that you can still attack check the official ruling
They can attack players, just won't perform checks ST3-15 Holy Flame Q1 What happens when a Digimon has a security check number of O because of this card's effect and it attacks a player? A1 That Digimon can't perform security checks, so the battle ends. Even if your opponent has no cards in their security stack, you would not win the game by attacking with that Digimon. How good is Beelzemon deck nowdays
IMO its not competitive in the current meta. It's still very scary when it high rolls but on average I don't think it can stand up to the most dominant decks. But don't let me stop you from playing what you like.
@@digivolutionenjoyer my main goal would be Omnimon deck ( I think he isn't competitive either) but lord of Glutony is my second favorite, also how many Advanced deck I need to build proper Beelzemon deck
@@thesupremekingamvmaker Omnimon has a proper deck coming in BT17, though not sure if it will be competitive. For Beelzemon you need 2 copies of the advanced deck plus the Beelzemon X line from BT12. Maybe a handful of other cards but most of them are personal preference.
Question on Decoy. If Imperialdramon ex3 hits the field against a swarm of Commandramons, does decoy work as a countermeasure? "When DNA digivolving, your oponent chooses 1 of their digimon and deletes the rest." I read this as your oponent is deleting their owm digimon therefore no, but I would love a more experienced take
That card has an errata that says "Your opponent chooses 1 of their Digimon. Delete all of their other Digimon". So no, it's not a case of making the opponent delete their own digimon.
This probably isn’t the best video to ask this question but why can galacticmon [all turns] prevent itself from leaving play if it were to be placed as the (source) of one of your other digimon/tamer But digimon with overflow -x don’t suffer the penalties of the overflow what is the difference?
@@digivolutionenjoyerBeing sucked into a card is leaving the battle area. There are Q&A in the digimon rule page that cover all possible cases of leaving the battle area. The reason overflow does not trigger from being placed under a card is not because they are still in the area (because they aren't) it's because the text specifies going from the area (battle or breeding) OR from under a card (such as being a source or under a tamer) TO another area (Security, Hand, Trash, Deck). Cards under digimon are not in the Area, only the top card which the digimon itself sources are not in any area nor a “source area”, they exist in a limbo (similar to xyz materials if you have ever played yugioh). I understand that the explanation given in the video is easier to understand and more intuitive but it's technically incorrect.

Forgot to mention alliance can stack, i.e a single digimon can have multiple instances of alliance. If a card (st lopmon is a good example) gives a digimon that has alliance (st cherubimon for example) another instance of alliance, that digimon can then suspend 2 other digimon to gain all their DP and do 2 additional checks rather than 1. This is constantly asked when people are making alliance-based decks, so I figured it was worth mentioning.

Thanks man! I'm very new to the game and I usually have to look up what keywords do/mean and such and this is helpful! Although I do have a question about certain rulings as me and a friend, who is also new to the game, were having issues with the rulings and we've been learning alot so far about how the game works and been working on more complex decks since. We are also two Yugioh players who came from that hot mess of card ruling and stuff so alot of simple stuff was like rocket science for us. Like for example we had an instance with the keyword "Collision" and he said he uses the effect to direct the attack to his mega, which btw he has 2 other lower lvl digimon too and I was planning on him blocking with his mega since I can prevent deletion by digivolving, I was playing a Death-X deck at the time and he was saying that he is forced to block with all of them which I was pretty sure he could only block with one of them and this was a MTG thing and he kinda wasted the effect considering he was gonna block with said mega either way. The second instant was when I tried out playing a Demon Lord deck with the Gate and such. My friend tried playing and having no idea how it worked and I went on TH-cam and saw how someone played the deck and I thought it'd be fun to try out. But I had an issue when he used De-Digivolve on one of my Demon Lords who didn't have an evolution source and he thought because of de-digivolve it deleted my Demon since they didn't have any other sources but that kinda felt wrong to me as they didn't have any evolutions to begin with and believed that it just de-digivolved them, not delete to my knowledge. But not wanting to look up the rulings I just shrugged and sent it to the trash anyways. Though I would like to confirm my suspicions about the rulings if that's alright and how it actually works.

Really glad to see you upload again! More onboarding content is really needed for the game. Option cards with Delay (or something like Clock of the End) cant stay in the battle area if they are de-digivolved into. They have to specifically placed into the battle area by their or another effect.
