this is exactly why i quitted Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and all other social media platforme except TH-cam. The ONLY platform that doesnt show me half naked woman. And what made me quit Corn is not even religion, after being with my girlfriend all the triggers go away. I get zero thoughts about corn and this itself healed me. Please Guys quit most of social media at first and watch the progress. it will only make your life better. And yes, mom was right. it was the phone.

I got off discord at april this year I have never felt as good man I had learned to love myself , appreciate who im , and so much more the peace I feel I can't describe it always stuck with the book on my lap math book or biology really cuz I have studies sometimes I just wander about things and forget im studying this peaceful time I spend with my ideas alone in silence its simply good I figured a lot of things with it at this point im really considering never using discord again.

Jokes aside, leaving social media platforms is a good way to improve mental health and achieve calmness. I removed my accounts about 5 years ago and have not reopened any. In order to get life back to those golden times of socializing, we need more people to wake to the real world.

I really don’t think online is the issue when it comes to P addiction. This might just be me but I’ve always had a vivid imagination that would constantly keep me in the mood and it didn’t matter for how long I stopped going to websites. What helped was just releasing and then doing other activities right after.

I've gotten rid of all of my social media, and you're right it doesn't just automatically make you social because everyone else is so glued to their phones. Although I have found that attending church and joining choir has helped me find community. Me and my mom go to church more regularly and I haven't gone much since I was a kid. It's almost like finding home again. I feel that God always helps me find a way 😊
