Wow, is that the clearest/best air day ever in the LA Basin? A typical day, you can just about tell those mountains exist, this looks pristine!

Good video - it was dark in real life, too! I got a few hits from dead air on this flight, particularly the inside loops, vertical 8, and overhead 8. Vertical 8 in particular, I got killed in the intersection on the way up both times, I just couldn't get it to turn where it was supposed to so it floated high. Second round flight was somewhat better and the conditions were much easier.

I love my Kit built Strega.. I’ve got a.61 in it, all from Brodac. Built solid but much lighter. Got a Sig Magnum with a.61 58 oz, iron on covering on the wings. Painted fues. Love the sound and smell of Nitro in the morning. Terry&ThePirates South Florida

Mine was an aries ... but I never got good enough that the idea of a smoking hole in the ground didn't give me nightmares but I built and flew many other kits when I was in the navy back in the sixties .. while my best work hung in a safe place ..!
