Very informative
Brahminical peeoccupations intruding in to science based nimhans
Yoga practitioners are quacks. Not medical doctors. People need true science not pseudoscience. Nimhans does not bother scientific history aspects.
Biassed , What about workouts and mindfulness meditation.

Contact Yogoda Satsanga Society and sign up for the Lessons written by Yoganandaji. Before he died, he said these Lessons are to become the spiritual preceptor once he's gone. As you study the Lessons, you will feel as though guruji is right there as your personal tutor in yoga, meditation, and kriya practice.

Jai Guru. I am from the West, i found autobiography of a Yogi several years ago..i have studied Yoganandas teachings, and i resonated deeply, and, peacefully with all. When i learned "the purpose of life is to find GOD", i was hooked; i knew then, this was the direction GOD is leading me. I meditate in nature, and i experience that beautiful joy, and peace that the swamis always speak of. Peace to all, Love to all. Namaste
🙏🙏 beautiful explanation Swamiji 🙏 it’s sad that we lost all this great knowledge along the way. It could have helped millions. Glad the ancient knowledge of Yoga from the Rishis of India is again percolating in its pure form 🙏🙏 Om Shanthi 🙏
What an informative, well thought out presentation. I will be watching this many times over.. Such incredibly sacred knowledge this SRF monk has shared.
Absolutely what I needed at exactly this moment...Blessing Swamiji ❤
Can I please get a copy of this powerpoint presentation? Great work, Thanks so much
It is natural for the head to go back in deep meditation. You can check Gurudeva Paramahansa Yogananda Ji’s photos in samadhi. His head is always back. It is a natural phenomenon of feeling bliss. It is involuntary movement of the head. Swami ji is wrong in saying that one should try to keep the head straight. If you are conscious of the head in deep meditation then you have not come out of body consciousness.
The teaching is to keep the SPINE straight. Along the spine are the energy centers (chakras) through which the prana travels during kriya yoga practice. So keeping the spine straight facilitates the movement of prana. A straight spine is the asana, the fourth limb of astanga, as taught by Patanjali.
Basically its all about knowing various states of consciousness and ultimately knowing we are no thing n all things.. expansion into the subtle realms.. knowing AUM ..
Indian system of kitchen ingredients are all derived over centuries & has blessings from Rishis (sages) and time for India to do away with Vitamin concept and teach about intrinsic value of an ingredient to human body. Vegetables & fruits enrich receptivity of human body i.e. sun rays, keeps disease away

45:56 This is a preliminary guided meditation exercise that helps put one in a relaxed state, in *preparation* for kriya yoga practice (which is not taught publically). See 1:14:52 for information about taking Lessons written by Yoganandaji.
Great vedio
Nice
Sir, very excellent and helpful information. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Why people see different colours in the ajna chakra?? Is the colour has to do something with their aura?
Madam do we have any entrance exam for the course. Iam a final year BAMS student I surely want to pursue this course.
Lots of thanks to this great organization
Thank you dear Swamiji
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Swami ji tell us please by anatomical way which are the areas of seven chakras and Ingala, pingala, sushumna located ?? What is anatomy term for it.
Well, remember, the chakras are not physical, three dimensional objects. They are an invisible part of our paranamayakosha (sometimes called the astral body, or the subtle energy body). Ida, pingala, sushumna, and chakras all reside in this energy body aspect of ourselves, not literally on the physical body somewhere.
Great
Thanks a lot Guruji🙏
You are great mam
