NGL… I LOVE the 8v way more than most folks do. 💯
We gon see what these ITBs do to it along with the 298 cam 😁😁
Just purchased a new Eliminator ABS yesterday. A 50 mile ride home from the dealership, this mid-cruiser is fricken awesome!! LOL yep, I read the owners manual regarding break-in RPM's and speed. Saw the 4000 rpm restriction for the first 200 miles. I spoke with the service techs at the dealership regarding that and they said yes but to give the engine some work up to 6500 rpm, with moderation.....just be sensible about it. LOL okay!! Love the Pearl White scheme; mine is the same. Thanks for the oil change content as I am a "hands on" DIY personality. A bit strange, not a lot of Eliminator 450 maintenance DIY content. Versus my Honda Grom MXS125, content regarding DYI and mods is almost endless on TH-cam. Ride Safe!!!
Congrats on the purchase, overall solid units! I couldn’t be happier, especially after changing out the Mirrors 😆😆
Can you send me the link for the exhaust?
It’s just an eBay unit.
Looks hungry 😂
I just picked up one of those too, and I'm a counterflow guy LOL. Such a good deal
Was a steal of a price!
@B1GUNO1 How do you like yours so far? I've read it helps if you spray seal the inside of them to stop leaks if you have issue
@@Hippie9D haven’t ran them yet, but from what I’ve read the only negative I seen is what your saying, if you don’t coat them initially they’ll idle high until you do. But they feel and look solid, the butterflies seem to be synchronized already, can’t wait to hear them!
"All that for lil 100hp" U dont kno how much we use that up here lmao😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sleeper fr
Looking good bro hell yeah LUV UR DUB
Toss some mk3 party seats in that sucker
Those would look good, but we have the original Seats out of it I’m cleaning up real good! We do have options tho!
Truckin’
I didn't paint the bumper it was already black 😂
It’s been painted, someone painted it.
@B1GUNO1 yea but it wasn't me on that the og front bumper that was on the 4wd was black as well the diesel came off the other white truck
@ 10/4 it just looked like the tail gate paint
Man that's gonna look good. Any idea on color yet?
Not entirely sure quite yet, but I appreciate it. Probably something two toned for sure though!
Nice truck it’s a short bed definitely worth restoring
Definitely, going to clean it up a little bit!
Nice truck bro! Definitely a come up.🤙🏾
Thank you I appreciate it!
Awesome meeting you man! That’s a good looking 944 if I must say so myself! ;)
Honda 3 row radiator will save massive space
Definitely I think I may have one at my pops house.
Unfortunately you probably already know that you have timing chains coming your way! I have the dual mass flywheel on mine I need to replace haha.
I do know yup, thanks for double checking though, just trying to figure out the other small things first hahaha 😆. Got to save up for all those items and knock it all out at once, clutch pack, cams, chains etc etc.
Performance cams*
@@B1GUNO1 yeah it’s a good amount of work I’m starting the “while I’m in there” list lol
Definitely 😂😂 Got to massage the pockets cause it’ll definitely hurt.. I’m hoping to be able to drive it to our little shop area and tear it down in the next year
You are just poor
From india.. going to get it
My brother owned this in the Uk 🇬🇧
It seems like quite a few people have hahah, couple folks have commented saying that 😆😆
Jesus they are supposed to be hand tight I thought!
I thought so too 😅😅 was the hardest part getting the damn filter off 🤣🤣
Send it back to Japan.
Where is the Grill?
Out back hahah
Get a Harley. I screwed up and bought a Honda XXL 600R, then a Kawasaki LTD1000. Then a Harley1000cc steel sportster. I should have bought the Harley first then I wouldn't have had my first Harley being a "Girls Bike" lol. Get a full size Harley they are easy to ride and hold their value. And I am a Big Guy so I need a big Bike. I only like the MK 1 and the MK2 Jettas.
I’m content with the Little eliminator rn!
Well done. Can't wait to see it bolted on your project vehicle.
How is it doing at 100kmph, 120 and above ?? Felt any vibrations??
There is some vibration but that’s not overly aggressive It’s quite smooth. I will say on highways it’s a little sketch, you definitely can get blown around by the Semi trucks and cross winds. Back rd crushing it’s rather enjoyable.
@@B1GUNO1 yeah, since it ain't heavy bike , it's hard to keep it stable when heavy vehicles pass next to you or get easily rattled at cross winds. At what speeds have you felt the vibrations ?
It’s really in the mid to high rpms so if I go over 75mph it starts to have some vibrations.
What exhaust is this?
Sat on these a couple times at the dealer. Definitely going to be my 1st bike when the time comes...just cant decise on the color i want!
That’s all based on preference!! Either way you go in the long run you’ll be happy!
My owners manual for my 2024 Eliminator recommends to perform the breaking oil change at 600 miles or 1000 km. Appreciate the video. Thanks.
So I probably should’ve mentioned that, the shop I bought my bike from told me the first 500 miles take it easy and don’t rev it out and I’d be good to change it at 1k. The first 500 miles I didn’t go over 60mph and didn’t rev it out 👌👌, but yes the manual says to do that..
@@B1GUNO1 the manual also says for the first 200 miles dont go over 4K revs, and from 200 to like 250 it says dont go over 6K and from 250 up Drive modertly.
Yup I have the same manual!
We’re did you get that fuel rail from?
Factory VW rail, Can find on MK4 2.0l and in the New beetle(the one that came out around the mk4) as well, we got ours out of a new beetle with a 2.0l
@@B1GUNO1 thanks I appreciate it
@@B1GUNO1 is the injectors better flow?
We were using factory mk3 injectors
@@B1GUNO1 oh ok cool
This is SWEET... That Head is Clean Sir
It’ll be a decent single cam when finished!!
I own this bike. Of all the bikes I've ridden, this is by far the most comfortable seat I've ever been on, and that's what I read everywhere before I bought. I'm concerned about your riding posture if you're not having the same experience. Other than that gawd awful exhaust and the mirrors that are about impossible to see out of without moving your arm, this thing is amazing all around.
@@illtumblerforyou this was only just over 500 miles on my first bike, I’ll go back and do another video.. As I stated in the video, I don’t know if it’s a beginner rider problem 😝😝, cheers!
$6400 out the door? Nice!
Indeed, Bike was 6100 and then sales tax and the rest of it came out to just over 6400. I have zero complaints with it.
It's amazing what you get for that price, Kawasaki knocked out of the park with this one. I've been watching tons of videos on it and I'm going to buy one within the next couple of weeks, I want the white one ❤ This bike is not only the best beginners bike out there right now, it is the best bike for anyone who only needs it to get around doing daily basic stuff
@@JesusGarcia-ub2wt I couldn’t agree more
@@B1GUNO1 Sales tax + registration + doc fees came out to just $300? that's not possible.
@@ABCDE710 How are you trying to tell me what I bought my bike for 😂😂 hilarious Bike I got on sale for just under 6100 Only cost about $60 to title and register a motorcycle, the sales tax was just under 350, all this is give or take. So just over 6400. If it makes you happy I’ll start saying 6500
Laundry Detergent will get that oil off of the concrete btw.
Thanks for that tip!
Have pics of it from then was mint with azevs on
I Owned the Passat estate F950 RLY in the UK for 3 years I bought it off old boy when it had 30k miles on it I loved that car and want it back
It’s over here in the U.S now, trying to fix it back up.. it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve gotten my hands on. But it needs a ton of work to get it back right. Unfortunately I wouldn’t sell it 😝😝
Nice place you have. Where is?
I've heard that it's easy to scrape the footpegs. Has that happened to you?
Not once! If you’re Motogp leaning into the corners it definitely will. But it’s not built for that… it’s a nice cruiser!
@@B1GUNO1 good to know..thank you for your prompt response.
I've got nearly 2k miles on since I bought mine brand new, 1 mile on it, and through all the tight turns and everything else, nowhere near scraping those.
I haven't looked, but i bet if you have patience, u may find a Harley Sportster for a decent price [used]. That said, i do prefer the unit-construction of Jap bikes. Just simpler to maintain. But i do want to take a ride on a Sportster, miss having a V2 (edit: spelling)
Luv ür Dub!
rockin the shirt bro hope to see u at eurofest this year
I wear it often!! Idk a lot of the meets and shows fall on my work days so it’s been quite hard getting to em
I spent thousands at Auto tech back in the day and they never sent a decal then either unless you spent 5 more dollars 😂. But those cams are the bees knees
All good, I’ll probably buy a sticker just to have lol
No Stickers 😥 Come on down to Eurofest and I'll have you plenty of Stickers 😅
I’m going to try to make it to one of the days, the Saturday for the show I’m scheduled to work.. this year a lot of the shows fall on my work days unfortunately 😓😓

Mk5 sucks ass

@@B1GUNO1 why doesn't that surprise me🎣
@@20vTurbae I’m yanking your chain I appreciate them all 😂😂. Some gnarly mk4s out there
