I had a lot of failure before I actually killed it. Beating Alatreon alone is a huge step to be able to kill Fatalis solo. Since the quest urges you to inflict elemental damage as much as possible before the escaton. Or else, escaton will kill you. I had a lot of takes also before I killed alatreon using standard gears with no Augmentations. I like using standard gears so it can help others to have an idea that they can actually do it with their current set up. I am sure that you can solo Fatalis also and I am looking forward to your success fellow hunter.

I wouldnt say played perfectly, its fairly average for what you expect to beat fatalis. still a good achievment none the less. but no canon opener, no smoke on roaming bali, not making use of wallbanging (which destroys horns), personally no agitator is a no go for me, its better than attack in world since the monsters should never NOT be enraged due to wall banging. fatalis is extremely easy for newer players to take evasion mantle too its damage bonus is just too good to ignore. on top of this, dont waste wallbangs when fatalis is upright the damage loss is not worth it to bring fatalis down considering he comes down with a few body hits.

@aidanfenton4377 During that time, I have no idea that you can't wall bang fatalis while standing. I don't use smoke and I don't have the evasion mantle also during that time. I like keeping it simple, so people can actually think that it is possible to kill monsters without this and that, etc etc. That video was the first time I killed Fatalis so it has a lot of mistakes. Before I actually killed Fatalis, I was looking for some tips that could give me an idea. But during that time(Fatalis released in Iceborne, 4 years ago) most of the videos uploaded has nice gears, augmentations and decorations that I don't have. So I made one that could help hunters like me that experience the same situation.

@@zeymour93 jesus thats your first time? thats actually pretty good then, I got bodied my first few times, i think the best advice would probably be to inform players about the horns, newer players cant hope to get past blue flames without having a strategy to deal with, wallbanging is probably the biggest crutch to get right if youre having trouble, partbreaker can be a massive help too and is a fairly common gem

@@aidanfenton4377 It took me a lot of times too before I killed it. I lost count of the amount of quest failed :D. Yes I agree with that, the horns is so crucial. Thanks for adding those things man. Anyone who will read it will definitely help them.

It’s not target. I’m not used to target since old gen don’t have those 😅 for the ring, the inner one shatters first. So wait for the inner layer to shatter then go towards it after it shatters. The V frost attack, it has 5 columns(if i’m not mistaken), once you saw velkhana do the flip(dunno if back or side), wait for ice crystals on the floor and just avoid it. 👍

@zeymour93 Alright, I'll bear that in mind. Thank you. 😊 You make it look so easy. While I don't cart in this fight a lot, I can't get a break, seems all I do is dodge and chug a pot. Lol. need to practice more.

I usually don’t kill elder dragon on first hunt 😅 I study their moves until I manage to kill them. You’ll get there I know for sure. Keep up the spirit fiver!
