Got a 25 year old delsey bag. It's still good. On my samsonite, all the seals went after about 15 years and I had to replace it. It got a lot of use though. Went round the world many times in flying distance.
There is always a trade-off between protecting the inside vs outer shell stiffness. A stiff shell will crack very easily. In the end I find it better to have these flexible (and also very lightweight) shells because broken luggage is the worst and you can always manage a way to protect your most fragile items.
Just purchased this luggage because this video helped me decide this is the one. Ahahaha thanks for taking a hammer to the wheels. That's usually my problem when traveling. 👏👏👏
thanks - just bought two of these... most people really like them - a few people said they developed crack thru and thru even after one flight. if it happens - report to airlines - delsey won't do anything for you.
