the Lord Jesus Christ said 'no man comes to the Father, but by me' John 14:6.
Embracing/accepting the cracks in our "pottery" takes bravery, so nice job choosing Touch the Sky from Disney's Brave which also centers on the theme of mending broken things.
Lovely sermon today. Thank you for sharing with us Rev mandi!
It is great to have you visit us in our pulpit again. I really appreciate your inspiring and wonderfully crafted presentation.
I think you are only happy when you are with others that enjoy new names. I had a boy name from an animal. I hated it. I am female. I am with my chosen name. I just wonder if you ladies are living lively because of harm done to you in your homes.
Hello! ❤
This is so true. I find it so hard to ask questions with unclear answers. It’s ok to sit in the uncomfortable and for the answer to simply be the unknown.
Greetings (a few hours late). 😆
Sounds like you need to let Jesus in.
As one who lived 1/2 his life in OH, I appreciate you delving into this timely and relevant topic. It seems plausible that the failed bearing got so hot that it caused the axle to break away and derail that car. Once that car was derailed, I assume the air brake line would rupture and set off a chain reaction of the emergency brakes. If I'm not mistaken, the air brakes on a train work like an air brake system on a tractor trailer - where the air is holding back the brake. If the air line is ruptured, the air holding back the brakes is gone and the brakes engage. I'm interested to hear what the NTSB learns and if they make recommendations about maximum train lengths or whether we adjust safety protocols on trains over a certain length.
Beautiful service. Thanks so much for making this available after the fact. There was no way I could be available Sunday, and so glad to be able to view it today.
Thanks for a fun discussion!
Thanks so much for your comment! I had fun giving the talk.
How wonderful to watch a recording of this ordination and installation hours after the special occasion! mandi, we are so excited to have you in our DUUC community!!
James Webb telescope is cool
Thank You
I started watching, paused for a moment and the video disappeared
Wonderful reflections on grieving and forgiveness.
Thank you to all who continue to allow us to celebrate the solstice together with this beautiful service! Maybe we will be able to celebrate together in-person next year. Bright blessings to all for a wonderful yuletide and very happy and healthy new year! God Jul!
Give Love to the 'spirit of a Hero' featured on my channel
Lovely Service. Thanks for encourage go outside and enjoy!
Hello, I'm new to the church and have not been able to attend in person at all due to the pandemic. How might one find out about the groups mentioned in the video? I haven't been able to find any info on the website or Facebook. I'm hoping to get some of sense of community that was so lauded. Also, when might in person events start again? Many churches have reopened their doors and I'm looking forward to meeting your community.
Hi Elisabeth, sorry for the late response, please join us at one of our bi-monthly Coffee Hours, held after the service to learn more about what is going on at church. Our Congregational Life committee hosts these Coffee Hours and would be happy to help direct you! You can sign up for our newsletter and emails on the website, those e-mails have links to all the events that we have going on, including Coffee Hour! We'd love to have you come and check it out. There is a Coffee Hour after the service this coming Sunday, April 11.
NOTE: Part 2 will be broadcast live on Sunday, February 21st, *not* February 7th.
Beautiful cello music!
Have y'all had a session on the default mode network?
How do i get in on those zoom meetings? Where can i see a list of topics?
Hebb's Law (independently derived by me) seems obvious. Doesn't everyone who studies the brain understand it intuitively? How could it be otherwise?
Eh? It's not binary. Even if there's a fire/no fire attribute, the level of neurotransmitters that is released is analog, not to mention the difference in transmission time that can vary with random events like Brownian motion, the efficiency of the myelin sheath to carry the signal, interference patterns between different neurotransmitters... Even if neurons were strictly binary, there's room for analog outcomes.
Loved the service and imagining conversations with ancestors
We were caught up in a battle And It wasn’t about no apples 🍎 I have traveled around the world and never read anything in Africa about no “Adam.” We we’re making liquid metal before termination 2 you a hater too. This was awesome. I shared with my family across the US.
Thanks for the kind thoughts! I had a lot of fun preparing for it and commenting with Scott back and forth at the end! Mike
I think I'm starting to figure out this technology. My sincerest thanks to everyone in the video and behind the scenes for making this possible.
fascinating. sitting here in FL enjoying the life of the mind, thanks to your Science Sunday lecture. thank you!
I love this service. A very special thanks to all who participated. Happy Holidays to you all but especially your delightful children.
It's a good thing to be kind and fight injustices, but these efforts do not meet a person's deepest needs: the need for forgiveness, rebirth, and a relationship with the living God, for which we are all created. Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through me." Do not be deceived by false gods. Turn to the ONLY one who can lead you into abundant life.
I enjoyed this service so much. There is nothing like being an Ox. Very delightful surrounded by such wonderful little stable occupants, the Holy family, stars, angles, and shepherds, their sheep, wise men, and friends. A very special day for me. Thank you.
I just came here to share the link with someone and listened to that last song again. I just loved it.
This is my first time listening to you guys. I wanted to start attending services. This just made that want ten times harder. I can't wait to join you guys.
Thanks for viewing. We look forward to meeting you
Hey, this is really cool!
