I know that avid die hard chi hard fans like me want to see Stella Kidd and Kelly severide have kids and even though Mouch became lieutenant of truck 81 when he passed his lieutenants test , yes that is a key important part of the story line within the show and the dynamics of how things play out within the show and the series it does not mean that this is the right time for either Kidd or Severide to start a family. As both high ranking officials within the firehouse each of them plays a significant role and part of the dynamics as a whole. You know we’ve seen Severide go off to ofi arson/ fire investigation cases and his willingness to take on any responsibility or role like teaching classes at the academy and being squad lieutenant etc starting a new family and adding a new addition to their lives isn’t something that he can just walk away from because there’s a job or responsibility that he wants to take on instead of sticking around to help raise a child. And with regards to Stella Kidd she said she wasn’t 100 % positive on having kids right now especially since some family members of hers was going to set the stage as to what the couple plans to do next in their relationship together. It’s not that Stella doesn’t want kids at all right now it’s just that she’s only just been lieutenant for a short time now and she’s been busy working hard with her girls on fire 🔥 program and they’ve only been married for 2 yrs now so taking on the responsibility of them raising a child together takes team work and efforts on both their parts and like I said before they both just can’t walk away leave the baby home alone or in the hands of someone else like her family member etc isn’t something to be taken lightly. Raising a child is the sole responsibility of both parents and simply put they can’t just shrug it off their shoulders and not be bothered in helping to take care of it. Parenting is a tremendous responsibility and they both have to have the time and dedication and determination and devotion to raising it. So with all their demands of their jobs having kids is definitely in the cards / picture but perhaps not right now at this point in time. I think for them if they want to have kids then they both need to sit down and talk it through with each other and figure things together and perhaps say to each other that it’s something they both want but not while they both have a lot on their plates right now at this current moment in time, especially for Stella Kidd she wasn’t that gung ho to start a new family right now. However having or raising children is definitely in the for seeable future but just not yet not right now considering all they both have going on in their lives right now with their current jobs and careers . So yes I know every fan wants to see the story line of them both raising children and starting a family together but not right now at this moment in time. Give it time they will come to that point where they will become parents but not right now not at this juncture in time. They each have a lot of jobs to do and raising children and starting a new family together would only complicate things for them both especially taking on all the responsibilities and challenges they face when it comes to doing their jobs. They will have kids and start a family but just not right now at this moment in time.

Agreed 👍🏻 keep Stella and Kelly together as they are the hottest couple on the show and in the series. They are considered to biggest fans based most sexiest couple of the century and of the year yet!!! Kelly severide is not planning on leaving the show. He constant on the show and constant in being the hottest husband to Stella Kidd aka Miranda Rey Mao. 😮There’s a hint that they might be starting a family at least if not now it might be further down the line within the show and the series. They went to the efforts of taking forever to get married so for them to break up them having a baby together wouldn’t happen. As far I know he isn’t planning on leaving anytime soon . Kelly severide aka Taylor Kinney has no intentions in leaving the show at least not right now at this moment in time. Severide is a key figure central character so without him there is no show? And if he’s not on the show Chicago fire 🔥 high ratings and rankings will drastically change and drop and not for the better either. You could have talked about something else because the writers did that. When Brett asked Gabby if she was going to take Casey last name Gabby told Brett that after they adopt louie then she was going to take his name. And all three of them would have the same name but the writers would not let that happen, Gabby and Casey did not get to adopt the child , because of the writers.so you can just stop lieing. The writers told Brett it was time to end brettsey. We are all so glad that they are gone, please don't bring the things back Every body do not like or love them,at work over three hundred people hate them if they come back that will be it fof all lf us.we will not look at it.
