Shockit™ Open End Socket Combo Kits to remove stuck fittings, nuts, and bolts in tight spaces
LTI Tools introduces several NEW Shockit™ Open End Socket Master and Combo Kits to remove stuck fittings, nuts, and bolts in tight spaces. They are packaged in durable EVA foam trays for optimum protection and toolbox drawer organization. The foam trays have a hard plastic top that resists oil and grease. They also fit alongside other trays in most tool cabinet drawers.
Shockit Technology is based on repetitive air hammer force and vibration delivered by a non-turning, standard punch to break through rust and corrosion in tight spots while eliminating thread galling. Shockit Sockets provide reliable performance for demanding tasks such as; air conditioning, fuel systems, tractors, forklifts, heavy equipment, and other automotive and industrial applications.
The new kits include SAE and Metric combos of Crowfoot (LT1915FM) and Line Wrench (LT1910FM) Socket Sets in EVA foam trays. Additionally, the launch contains a 12-piece Drive Impact Socket Master Set (LT1940-MASTERF) for 3/8-inch, 1/2-inch, and 3/4-inch drives. The three sizes of Drive Impact Socket Sets are also available individually packaged with a 5.5-inch punch.

Thanks for the great video! I am a machinist and will be tackling this repair on my truck very soon. What are the insert specs that you recommend; M8x1.25 internal - brand, external thread size (tap drill drill size), depth/length, material (SS, steel, alloy)? How did you keep the tap drill aligned with previous hole? Link to purchase?
Word of warning for anyone looking to purchase this kit it does not work with Subaru vehicles with the Electronic Parking Brake due to a different knuckle design.

Ford hates its customers. They are perfecting the art of building the disposable vehicle. It took years to perfect the disposable pen. Give them time, they are days away from making it happen.
Everything with DIT gas or diesel this happens on... And I'm a JDM guy defending your statement. Can't stand Ford just like you 😂 all cars are crap now no one wants to be a mechanic anymore. Just left the field after 10 years.

It’s another incredibly expensive tool that you need to do basic things on any Ford vehicle. Because Ford hates its customers.

I just used this tool. A lil overkill for the earlier mechanical parking brake style hubs but perfect for the bigger electronic parking brake style hubs. I work at a dealer so I set the tool for 2018 and up Subies and use the hub shocker for the earlier ones to speed up my workflow since we get so many in the city. 2 hits with a 20lb sledge no disassembly of the parking brake needed

Yeah but how much does that thing cost vs how much does it cost to drill your bolt circle into a 1/2" plate and then weld a foot long square tube in the center and beat on it

car in the video isnt even rusty. a typical New England Subie looks 100 time worse than that. Eric O's method with a welder is the best way to go. i decent welder cost less than this tool and can be used for many other things.
Yeah a mig welder and the safety equipment is prob about half the price of this tool. . .I tried stick welding but turns out I don't know how to weld lol

I believe those air operated drills have a lot of torque . The fact that you can use this kit with the heads installed and put out a repair with machine shop quality is great . There will always be hacks that won't spend the money or won't follow ALL the instructions - because THEY know better than the inventor . But they WILL open their BIG MOUTH when it doesn't go well . Nothing changes .

useless video, 1 minute long, 13 seconds of content, too much garbage, no useful info to drive me to spend almost $300 in their tool. All bells and wistles, no substance
If people would learn how to weld, 90% of drilling out bolts is eliminated. I've only ever had to drill out 2. The rest I just welded a nut to the end and used an impact and removed. (And yes if you are a decent welder, you can weld to a broken bolt below the surface).
Well if you can weld 8-32 down to 2-56 and titanium, it would make my life easier. That's all I extract.

So you have to cut and remove backing plate and replace it then?
Just when I thought I was all done spending money on this repair, I got to the seized manifold stud. I've welded two nuts to it, and my welds are pretty good. But the stud keeps breaking off behind the weld. I only have a small amount of stud left to play with. I guess if I can't get it out any other way, at least I know I can buy this thing.
The alignment wasn't good it was offset. I can free hand better than that. I have your kit and will be using it today. I will share results but can show you free hand results as well. Do you have other videos of using the extractors instead of just jumping to an insert?

So on top of buying this Tommy Pro you also need an air hammer that requires an air compressor? Ah, I’ll stick with a hammer or buy a new knuckle with the WB if needed.
