This is a great in ear monitor system for those with a low budget it connects in stereo and it sounds great theres a small background noise you will hear but its the mixer gain was to high on it. Great simple demo. Since this first test, have you found that the noise floor is still pretty high? Or can this be corrected by driving a different level into the Takstar? Just curious if this is radio noise. Do you feel that it "limits" or "compresses" the signal in any way? Thanks for sharing!

hi, i have same system. i trying to send my vocal signal to aux send (with XLR port) to the takstar transmitter then i hear into my receiver and in ear monitor, it sounds like peaking, can u help me to explain this problem?
Make sure your aux send volume knob is down.
Carvin mixer takes me right back to my church youth group! Love it.

Are the frequencies legal to use in the US? (FCC rules on 700MHz restrictions) I have one, but my sound team at church told me I can't use it due to FCC rules. Kinda frustrated. Only used it once, and I really like it. Had it for about 3 years...
Might depend on where you buy it, they sell a version in Europe that operate on 863.1MHz - 864.9 MHz, which is basically free in all of Europe.
Hey I have the same system, when we rehearse we have the cable from the transmitter to the desk connected in CD to hear through both headphones, can I get a single cable to go to mon 1 and be able to hear through both headphones instead of 1 ear?!!

I’m not sure why that hiss is going on I’m sorry I hope your happy with your results thanks for watching. Our system has a very low hiss maybe your gain in one of your channel is to high causing it to hiss.

God bless you to brother, yes there’s two mixers in our system because I needed more channels so I added my mixer to not take up more channels in our churches mixer.

got mine few days ago does your have some kind of white noise? i mean it is not completely silent when you don’t play?
We get a very small noise but its from the gain of our mixer but it sounds clear to my ears. also it helps if you send like half amount of gain to your in ear system don't send to of a high gain because you will get more of a nasty noise than having it more clear.

mikz marcelo I’ve had no problems at all with this system it’s still running strong and it has no interference we are very happy with this system especially because it’s affordable. Hope it helps God bless
