I attended an Enduro playday on a farm near Totnes/Devon. The event was organised by Endurocks. A local company based in Bridgewater, who organises events like these, for beginners and pros. They also run enduro race days, and had there first Adventure Bike Festival last year, which i enjoyed very much. THE PLAYDAY event was well put together, and every one involved was very welcoming and helpful, especially the marshall who got me out of a few scrapes, and was instrumental in getting my front brake repaired.
I had a tough time to say the least, but i gained some valuable experience. Unfortunately, i lost all brake fluid to my front brake, so wasnt able to finish a complete lap.
I dont blame the Himalayan for anything, I struggled with its weight on a few occasions, but if i was a better rider, the enduro course would of posed no problems.
The next time I try, I will certainly remove my wing mirrors and drop the tyre pressures to 10psi.
