We lost a loved one on a bike and he wore padding, leathers, a good quality helmet, gloves and boots. I would never allow my loved one on a bike without all the gear. Why do you Americans never wear the right gear, or wear seatbelts in the back and front of a car, or a cycle helmet on a push bike? It’s like you want to injure or kill yourselves.

I, recently, tried a pickle flavored water. It says cucumber mojito, but it tastes like straight pickles! My mom offered me one, and I didn’t want to, but then I thought about when Abby tried a pickle, and I made myself try it. I didn’t like it the first or the second time, but I felt too warm today, and I drank a whole one. It was really refreshing, actually! I always figure if Abby can do it, I can do it. I like pickles, but they have to be hamburger dills or Vlasic snack chunks, or I don’t like the texture. I don’t blame Abby…I usually can’t do spears, because of the mushy texture on the edge of the spear. Pickles cut like my favorite hamburger dills are all crunchy…none of the mushy center, where the seeds are. Maybe Abby could try hamburger dills, or other pickle slices or chunks and see if she likes them better! I recommend them. I do tend to share some “safe foods” with some other autistic people I’ve met, but it can be highly individual. I used to eat about 3 foods for several weeks or months, until I got sick of it, as a kid. Now, I eat lots of things, but I must like the texture.

With the face she made I totally thought she was going to say she hates it. I’m glad she likes pickles; I think they are delicious!

I love them SO much. My daughter is only 5.. 6 in November and ok the spectrum and she 100 percent remonds me SO MUCH of abbey. Little looks she gives etc just remind me soo much of the same face/eyes my daughter makes. And the way she talks... and their shared interest in music... like its wild ❤ feels somtimes like im looking into the future ofnwhat my daughter may be like.
