You guys are spot on there. He talked about how during covid when their concerts were cancelled how he relied heavily on alcohol to get through it. Not in the context of the video but I'm liking this channel and videos. You guys genuinely seem to appreciate music from all across world. I love Pentatonix as well from India. Just here to drop you guys a suggestion, please check out Shreya Ghoshal rendition of Aapki nazron ne samjha (an old Indian classic) at Berkelee college of music, USA; where she sings the above mentioned song at the college. It's such a beautiful rendition, and you guys can understand how traditional and classical Indian vocals go. It might be new and slow to westerners as they might not be used to such music but trust me it is gorgeous once you deep dive into it. Would love to see more videos on Indian music and Pentatonix :))

You're actually spot on about the emotions expressed in the song ! For Jimin, it was the feelings he got during the pandemic, his whole album retraces that hard time for him. It wasn't really about love but it was about wasting time through meaningless things to ignore the pain and lost. (This is a very short way to put it).
