James Dellingpole interviews Matt LeTissier
มุมมอง 6682 ปีที่แล้ว
Matt is a former Southampton and England footballer. After James impresses Matt with his deep knowledge of the beautiful game - they get down to business, discussing what the hell has been happening over the past 2 years and why people in sport (and elsewhere) seem too scared to discuss what's in front of their noses...
Mattias Desmet on Our Grave Situation
มุมมอง 23K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Professor Mattias Desmet talks about his work that connects past historical episodes of what is called “Mass Formation” (aka Mass Psychosis) and current events. The risks are as grave as they come. Unless a few brave and courageous people are willing to stand up and say “I don’t agree!” history suggests that we will end up with a fully totalitarian outcome.

A lovely film. So sad to see how Norwich is transforming into a less pleasant place as the population changes and we become less happy and cohesive.
@@anglian173 Yip, couldn't agree more
Born in 1950..Canterbury place..all gone now...used to work at laurence and Scott's
Note the predominance of adults and families in these videos. Now the city centres of the UK have been completely overrun by teenagers and people in their twenties, young binge drinkers and even children without their parents to supervise them.
Love my county city. Best in Britain.❤😊
I knew Norfolk was a bit backward, but I never realised they were still using horse-drawn public transport in the 1980s
😂🤣😀 Yea we so backward. We didnt have the car till in to the 90's. Didnt get the pill till the late 80's. And for some reason before the 70's we had to weave our own socks. I mean we werent even discovered til the Edwardian period. Some of this is a staged production to show of an older time sweetheart. You know. Like the wicker man film. Bless you though and takecare from Narch
it was a great weekend, 1% Snoopy Germany
"Europe's premier theater" - lol
Papa ❤️
A great post ! I was at Norwich school of Art in the mid to late 70s, and @ 9 mins 37 seconds is my good friend Gerry playing the fiddle.
So good to see the “Maverick” and a young(ish) John Gibson there. Loved that bike.
👍
13:45 A fine record with libraries? They sure as huck cant spell or read, or write for that matter. The school standards from back in the mid seventies was, and still is, a an absolute disgrace.
08:21 Wow! Hovells is not on fire !
This is so heart warming. Beautiful put together. Historically poignant and sensitive. It makes me feel proud to be Norwich born and bred. I just just love visiting those old places and times. Gosh, how things have changed Graham
I was there somewhere, I was a NCC Shropshire prospect then.
my old man was aswell chopper john
@@jjhartshorne did he have a trike at that time, I think it was a Relient engined one.
yes he did he built 2 i found a photo of the 1st one he built the other day with ncc shropshire he painted on the tank,he was an artist by trade i got a few photos of tanks he painted for people in the club 👍
@@jjhartshorne I must of met you back then, I was known has Dave in those days, I joined the same time with Tim my mate before the Club.
was tim from woodside quite a tall bloke?
Wow, what a great watch that was.
Brilliant!
This is TH-cam gold
I was there somewhere, I was a prospect then. Happy days Shine on you crazy diamond. ♦️
Hard to know what to say about this. I was 12 when this was filmed, and have lived in Norwich all my life, and still do. Good to look back, but also sad to see what we had and have lost. The market is now a sterile place which is mainly food stalls, no brewery, colmans, chocolate factory etc. Even the roundabouts on the ring road, which used to be covered in floral displays are left to overgrow. Maybe it's the country rather than the city. Even this years Lord Mayors procession banned floats because of pollution, yet allows 30 year old buses to run through St Stephens and Castle Meadow whilst bannig cars, incl electric ones. Internet shopping and the cost of living has taken it's toll on shopping. At least I was there to witness the Fine City, shame we never appreciate what we have until it's gone!
I'm much older than you and I agree, what a lot we have lost. I remember when the Norwich Union first used the phrase 'A fine city' for their advwertising. They also produced a magnificent set of Photos to use in their adverts. Its sad to look back but we must be positive and try to show to best effect what we still have left.
So true!
Don’t know why you say we have no breweries and the market is loads better than it used to be - and I’m 68 and think lots has improved.
Ik was als member erbij in Beverwijk het straatfeest.
Better times then.
I was there in '87, had a great time
Man I was lucky to be born here
sad to see how so much of our shops, industry and freight has been lost over the last 40 years :'(
Thank you for posting this bought back so many fond memories of going to the fair with my grandfather.
I live in one of those prefabs. It's still true today that prefab houses (the single storey prefab bungalows were all demolished) are highly sought after. Landlords love getting their mitts on them because they can charge rent on 6 - 8 individual students per house, without feeling cramped. It's sad though, as these homes were meant for post war, homeless families. I can only imagine the sheer joy for those post war families who were housed in them. Some, like mine, have small extensions on the side (no idea why, but only a few do) which are nothing more than a small storage area & a tiny toilet. What bliss for many who had only previously ever had outdoor lavatories - some shared in the old courtyards in the city centre. Not only did they now have an indoor toilet in the upstairs bathroom, but they also had another downstairs, also indoors. Having a small dining room had to be the icing on the cake. I can understand why many families refused to leave. They'd gone from living in slum housing, to what must've felt like a palace.
oh how they destroyed norwich.never to return
Man, that was a hot weekend. Still got the glass. 🥃
I got the 87 Holland run on dvd
My dad lizard was a ncc member in the 80s and demoniacs mc Avon Bristol England some are now Hells Angels
Great archive. If only they knew then that just 40 years later, we would have surveillance cameras up everywhere. Police people not trying to offend anyone whilst crime sky rockets. And to top it all the city council would be supporting a fascist government in Ukraine!!
yes ukraine flag over city hall disgusting...a truly woke bunch of commies
What a brilliant film, i would have been 13 when this was filmed, and would probably have been one of the kids watching the buskers on the haymarket, before heading to pilch to buy some trainers lol
Yeah, fame at last! If you squint hard enough, there's my green Triumph chop about 5 bikes down from Chris's Beach Bastard at 1.01 to 1.06.
thank you
Castle Gardens, when they were a delight. Not like the $h1th0le they are now!
I was at 1 of em, not sure if 87, 88, or 89 lost in the fog of time 🤪
13:46 At first, I was in disbelief that this was Norwich because many of the landmarks are gone or have been re-furbished. But after some searching, it looks like it was shot from the top of St John the Baptist's Cathedral
Amazing to see shoes made by hand not so long ago.. I remember the fun fair on the cattle market and it being quite a lively area. Now it’s dead so not such a good design after all … oh well at least they tried..
Good to see Andy Worham on the Market
Thanks, yes, I spoke to Andy a year or so ago and made sure he got a copy of the film. Good to see him still going strong on the market as well.
7:44 my aunt worked on those fish stalls around then
Who is singing? "Ride choppers or fuck off"- Tom Fugle
Sad....and totally unneccessary.
The city of my youth 1950 to 1968. Lots of great memories
Just a brilliant watch, much of which I remember….
FANTASTIC !!!
Your comments at the 1:01:14 mark regarding not being able to share other alternative treatments like Vit. D are very key to what is going on today with the weaponization of the law. I highly advise you to look at this discussion on You Tube - th-cam.com/video/iPZ4wIO1FAM/w-d-xo.html It is very troubling that our own citizens are being targeted and being made as examples to shut them down.
This is incredible
At 3.36 seconds my dads on his bike on stage getting his award for his bike he won tons of stuff for his bikes and he was only in his early 20's there and a member of the Bristol chapter of the national chopper club but left to help start up the now defunct Demoniacs mc from Bristol England which some are now in the big 81 dad lizard died in 1996 at home of a brain hemerage he was only 30 yrs old
My dad was in the national chopper club around this time he was at all the shows I got all these pictures so seeing some of these bikes on TH-cam when I've only known them to be in a photo album my dad lizard is on one of these winning an award for his bike as usual I say that cause he won so much he threw his trophies away
I always wondered what St Stephen's looked like before it was modernised. Now I know! Thank you for uploading this.
