It was good until you took the sander to it at the end especially to aluminum that should never be done. If your going to make sure you have a new metal ruler or something to check the deck surface all the gasket mating areas and check with a feeler gauge and make sure there are no gaps
nsrracing1 in some cases it is enough but I generally have to get them resurfaced, most if not all of the heads have been removed for one reason or another and would require them to be resurfaced.
