HOW RUDE? He introduced Dame Darcey LAST??? I am gasping in shock. He's lost me already. Introduction protocol this is a real slap across the face for Darcey! Sequence should have been Darcey first, the pianist, the female dancer, and male dancer last. This is an affront!

UNWATCHABLE. Camera is upstaging dancers and movement. REALLY ANNOYING. Why is it so hard for Brit filmmakers in particular to grok that we're here to watch the class, not their gratuitous and obfuscating Steadicam meandering? It's NOT ABOUT YOU. IT'S ABOUT THE WORK OF BEING A DANCER. It's not even competent camera direction. Clearly camera and DP and Director know eff all about ballet and are only shooting for their own reels. Sad for them, it's not even semi-competent for even a bargain basement tv commercial. Ballet cos: Don't hire non-dancer pseudo-documentarist. You'd do better hiring injured company members to film with their cell phones.

Åh! Lovely Marion! Can't forget her gorgeous and graceful Carabosse at The Hippodrome theatre I saw in 2003. BRB's Sleeping beauty has been one of my favourite productions of all.

Saw The Sleeping Beauty in March was the most beautiful and exquisite spectacular. A very welcoming distraction for me. Cannot wait to see Cinderella next year. Ballet is the best ❤

Even with the volume turned up, i didn't hear most of what she says-she talks too quick, and the background music drowns out a lot of what she's saying.

The final result, Seen the last night performance Plymouth 23/03/2024. Sell Out, Brilliant Dance,Stage Sets,Costumes and Orchestra. Well Done! So pleased to have been there!

This looks so hard and exhausting, but what a fantastic payoff. I wonder if being on one of the ends is easier/harder than being in the middle?

I just found this video. I’m an ex ballet dancer and miss this so much!!!!! I’ve been searching for real barre/ballet workouts to keep up with strength and flexibility. My body was perfect for so many years. I’m 54 now, still in good shape but need to tone. I can’t wait to start this workout!!!!!

The best bit of this rehearsal for me was the joy of seeing Shireenah still connected with ballet! I watched avidly the C4 programme “ballet changed my life” all those years ago and was blown away by Shireenah’s performance in Romeo and Juliet. I once bumped into Marion Tait at a theatre and took the opportunity to ask her how her protégés had progressed in their lives, but there was not the time to ask her about each and every one who had taken part in the scheme. How wonderful to learn that the art of ballet had enabled those young people to turn their lives around. Thanks go to Shireenah for mentioning that she was part of that original Ballet Hoo :)
