I finished the game before the latest patch. As far as I know, it should fix the performance and bugs/crash. Probably, I will install the game again in a few months to see the improvements.

Yes, TLOU is still a bad port for PC, another games runs better and uses all the CPU + GPU combo, but yes, if you can upgrade to a newer CPU, it will be better. With my current motherboard, I can only upgrade to an i9 9900k
9700k hasn’t aged well at all. The 8700k is actually better with these newer games lmao

Yes, that's why is OC to 4.9Ghz but also the optimization issues, now with the patch 1.0.5 it runs better.
I have the same specs only difference is i have 3060 i get like 50 to 55 fps all the time im using 1.0.5 version
