Bloody beautiful prem 😊great work 👏 👍 👌
Im just painting my Chrysler valiant CL and so far ive spent 2.5k on the car itself, about 800 on paint but i had the family friend discount and I'll need new carpet which is like 200 bucks. Ive done absolutely everything myself from panel work, painting to the mechanical work. I have 4 cars worth of bits and bobs, all the hard to get and expensive stuff really. I guarantee I'll get my car done under 5k and theres no reason anyone can't do that if they do the work themselves and have a somewhat decent motor and shell
Fantastic 👌 👍
Love the interview mate, great job
Thanks mate. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Thanks guys
Back my day 1 them hk nice 1 like new 2000 bucks so id say cause yours looks new maybe auxtion it
Give it to subscribers
Great video mate 👍 Id said ill need to do this on my HT Premier Have you got and replacing floor pan videos Thats 1 of the jobs we need to do on the Brougham soon
Thanks mate. I haven’t done that yet on the Ute. When the Ute comes back from the blasters the floor will be the first job I tackle so keep an eye out 👍 I’ve got plenty of photos of when I did the HK Ute so I can send you some if that helps. Cheers
@Wreck2resto im not confident at body work but need to have a crack
That’s the best way to learn
Congrats! We just saw this vid. Awesome surprise Kate! 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣!
Awesome look forward to this project Has Jezs seen the LJ Torana we have been helping with It drivable now
Not sure but I’ve shared your channel with him 👍
Awesome interview and great work on the video guys 🤙 Yeah get the Torry on there! awesome
Another great vid mate 👏
Thanks mate 👍
Fantastic episode guys ❤🇦🇺🦘🪃🍻👌🏔
Awesome restoration job by the owner 😎🤙
Thats killer mate love it
Good vid, i recently bought this exact machine, can i ask, what setting do you use to ball your tungsten for alloy tig welding ? Thanks ☺️
Thanks mate. I’m having a lot of fun with it. I have a piece of copper than I start the arc on at around 20 amps and then I just slowly ramp the amps up to about 40 until it forms a nice ball on the end of the tungsten. In the instructions it says to reverse the polarity to ball the tungsten. I tried but it didn’t seem to make much difference.
@ yeh i have used the viper195 (baby sis of razor 230) & got the hang of it so thought upgrading would be good for tig alloy :) , question do you keep the machine in AC mode when you do the balling to the tungsten? Thanks!
Yeah I’ve only tried it on ac mode. I’m going to have a play around with it tomorrow so I’ll try a few things and I’ll let you know what works best
Fantastic job :). I have a VB Commodore with many panels to make. Helpful Advice.
Thanks mate. Good luck with it 👍
Excellent video. Glad I came across your channel. Thanks.
Great video on how to remove panel I’m about to do the same on a wb Ute which is very similar keep up the good work.
Bloody beautiful prem
Hey mate, great video! Like the detail you put into the video! Need to do this repair on my HT Brougham
Thanks mate. Hopefully it gives you a bit of motivation to get yours done 👍
very clean. Nice
It certainly is. Murray has done an awesome job on it
@Wreck2resto Looks like it just rolled off the assembly line 👍
Nice car bro
What's the plenum cover like on the parts car?
About the same if not worse unfortunately. It has rusted in the same spot where the bonnet lace rubber goes
@Wreck2resto That's unfortunate. I'm assuming they are not made aftermarket yet?
@darrenpalmer6073 not that I’ve seen. Occasionally a good one comes up for sale so I’ll keep an eye out
Nice work 👏
Thanks for sharing.
No problem 👍
He'll love it .👍👍👍👍
Let the market decide - put it out for tender - better still keep it as it adds to your super fund.
Happy birthday
👍Thanks!
@@BADQ Legend 👍
Very cool, great video mate, making me want to get more into welding again!
Congratulations on 1000 Subscribers well deserved 👏 ❤ if it was mine I'd be keeping it, but if you need cash 💸 💰 to move forward with other projects well sell it, dont let it stop the progress, but remember you most likely will never get another one, I sold my LH Torana and FE Holden sedan, and now regret it, as to buy them both now, well need another mortgage, anyway its only worth what someone else is prepared to pay for it, you know the costs, add your labour, starting price IMHO, if i wasn't restoring a house that was 121 yrs old, I'd buy it, Cheers 🍻🇦🇺🦘🪃🏔🍻
Thanks mate. I’m definitely leaning more that way at the moment. It would definitely be hard to replace if I let it go. Good luck with the Renos 👍
@Wreck2resto you're welcome, and thank you, reno my address is 🤔🤣😅 🇦🇺🦘🪃🍻
I'll give it my best 👌 👍
Congrats on the 1000 subs milestone guys.
Thanks mate 👍
Don't sell the ute
If you can keep the ute, do so you'll regret the day you did . I sold my HG UTE and regretted that day ,23 years later, I had the chance to buy it back, so I jumped at it, so now the resto begins 😊 Put it in the corner and enjoy it every now and then . Good luck 👍
Glad you manage to find it again. Won’t be long until it’s like new again 👍
If it was me , I wld keep the car nobody will give you anywhere near what its cost to build with your time & expertise included no regrets mate ! keep it its a great car & I can see you do love the car keep it !
Haha Davo shed skid
A gold good on ya
Awesome congratulations again
Sorry i missed your live i was having a Premiere video on the go
All good mate. I need to catch up on your videos now as well 👍
Go with your heart mate, I would do it, the prem will be a much better car for the family. I would put it down to priorities, 5 seater for the win! just a very tough market to sell cars at the moment, hit up Liam Mitchell at Golden State Muscle Cars in Kalamunda, if you want someone trustworthy to sell it for you instead of selling it yourself, he has very good exposure. Let me know if you want his number for a chat about it.
I'd always keep the Car that is finished and complete, I want a driver ... however a Ute is fairly impractical from a Family standpoint. You have to weigh it all up for your personal needs and requirements.
I'm doing up a CL sedan which will be my daily and yeah utes are impractical, and to that I say. have more than one classic at a time
I recently had to make the same very difficult decision with my mint XB GT tribute 4 door, mild 351, C4 and 9”., sold it recently for $84K. Took me 5 years to build and as much as I’d liked to have kept it, keeping my home was more important right now. Can’t tell you how less financially stressed I am, might do another one day when the economy improves and interest rates drop.
Its a beautiful car and its time to move on. Sell it, take the money to fund your other projects. I am sure more opportunities will come along as well
M8t that car is absolutely stunning om thinking 80/100,000 just a guess.
Oh he'd like u
