Thank you Have always looked forward to your videos and projects ! Glad this found you!
496 is. 4.250 bore x 4.250 stroke, right?
4.310
Love the shipping container "bridge" over the track but do whish they would paint the darned things. Maybe this year they will get to that
its a cool different set up for sure !
Both tracks up that way, Lapeer and Ubly both have special places in all our hearts if you grew up in Michigan. I'm 55 with health problems now but last time I was at the track was 2019 at Ubly with one of my 2 drag mini bikes. Of course we had a total blast. My mini was a full sec off that day but still fun. It's run 8.90s@75+ in the 1/8 which don't sound like much but pretty exciting when your butt is just inches from the track, in fact the whole rig is so small it feels like a toy. This 67 Cutlass pushing all my right buttons this morning. Just what I needed to see today, thank you for that
@@williamstamper442 you have a couple years on me I like going to only now and again!
The algorithm brought me here, Lapeer Dragway in the title assured me I must watch .. Now please tell me this car is Oldsmobile powered...? If not I can easily help you get a 455 in the car with relative ease and low cost
@@williamstamper442 sorry bud it’s not rocket power ………thanks for watching!
I'll forgive you. Trust me I do understand the struggle. Will you re-consider sometime in the future when I get my 70 442 out with real Olds power and I end up out front? This is great stuff and I'm just picking on you...but serious about Olds power because I know it cost alot more for less result but I've got some tricks and if you ever are interested in a 650hp/650ish tq Olds 455 that won't blow apart please consider my offer. I've got 12 virgin short blocks just as cores (don't ask why because I don't have an answer) and got plans to spray one of my dirt cheap TRW piston motors into the 9.50 range in my 70. I truly need to get some weight out of the car first and then do some more metal work on the once rust bucket body...at 3500lbs with me in it, the 625hp/650hp range stock block olds with an NX cross plate kit should make about almost 900+ and that's all my old ass is trying to do right now. Still love your car and subscribed so please keep doing what you are doing in the meantime. Looks like you got a bunch of other projects so if a big block Olds may be in your future just let me know.. Again thanks for the vid, just what I needed that day
@ thanks for taking the time to write that and watching my videos I’m set on engines for a while I would like to build a olds drce someday !
No thank YOU for the reply! All I wanna do is send my 70 442 which I've had since I was 13 and was bought as a rust bucket in 1983 for $550... Since then it has improved but in the paint department looks just like "trashy" your 67! All I wanna do before I die is have an all Olds powered stock block Olds go low 9s eventually an 8.9999 with just Olds power. I'm not kidding I have at least 12 core engines let alone built stuff. My last built Olds is a .030 over 455 which made 620hp/620tq and yeah it's got alot of compression and alot of money that I wish I had not spent...I'm just hanging onto my brand. If you wanna talk and do some TH-cam stuff I might just donate an Olds engine and a single stage kit and let you rip it for fun! My dad daily drove a 67 442 from 1969 until about 1976. I still have the original 400 and switch pitch th400 trans from that car and would love to mess with the 400 stuff too but I'm locked in poor boy jail. I got a real L-69 1966 tri power motor including the B heads with the proper T stamp on them...I got a thing for the 3.985 stroke, 4 inch bore, 7 inch center to center connecting rod engine of which these consist. I do believe a bigger bore of that same short end will accept a big snort of dentist anesthesia and we could have a ton of fun finding out! Let me know if you are interested. I live down in Dearborn
Fantastic lineup of channels. We have VERY similar tastes in TH-cam entertainment. A couple I haven’t heard of but I’ll be checking them out today. I’ll let them know where I heard about them first. Merry Christmas to you and good luck with your channel and your cars in 2025!
Same to you Bud I enjoy your Channel and enjoy your content Merry Christmas!

Thanks for Watching Merry Christmas!
great video glen💪
Thanks Herb Appreciate you watching!
Nice old school car. Good looking body but i always thought they would look better if the headlights didn't have that space in between them.
on the 1966 there is no space between the headlights on the 1967 they made cold air ducts that flow air to the air cleaner above and below the turn signal on specific models in 1968 there was also a turn signal between the head lights also however the 1969 there was nothing between the headlights i think they all look good but i prefer them with the turn signal ! Thanks for watching!

It’s way down on the list with all the projects I got going on thanks for watching!
Why not a 455 Olds?
It is very expensive to get a olds engine to be reliable at these power levels this set up is 664 hp On the engine dyno and I have another 300hp fogger kit on it………
Notice the battery on/off switch hanging out back!!!!!

Glenn, if you are interested in selling those front wheels, I'm in the market for a pair. Nice new project BTW, that Olds motor should make it fly!
