This is a smooth rock adaptation of the classic Christmas hymn. The solo is in the alto saxophone, or could be done by piano/guitar. A tine DX7 style piano would be fantastic to add some 80's vibes. This chart is great to add something interesting to the jazz band holiday concert.

"The Business" is a piano feature with jazz ensemble written at the request of my publishing partner Mr. Lester Pack, for the great Allan Batts (pianist with bluesman Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown). Allan had an elegant soulfulness to his playing and was such a joy to hang with. This is a great chart for anyone wanting to play some F blues.

"Buffarilla Shuffle" was commissioned by the 2014 El Dorado High School Jazz Band from El Dorado, Arkansas. Their directors, Alex Michaels and Robert Kloap gave me the title and you'll have to ask them what it means. The shuffle is meant to be quite 'sassy' with an open C minor blues solo section.
