Whats your speed sofar
76 so fat. Bought a 36 tooth pinion bit I wouldn't fit without severe modification. Waiting on a 32.
Really thought 4s would have given me more though.
Nice 👍. Just got an Arrma granite 3s . Seen this on sale and it seems liked a deal with the cool remote and gyro . A lot of people like this RC judging from comments .
The Arrma 3s BLX line are beasts. Enjoy.
I absolutely love mine. It can drive where the 1/10 can. I recently did my 1/10 Capra Sporty vs my 1/18 Capra sporty and it did all the lines. If you just take springs off and band the front it will be awsome performer right outta the box.
Appreciate the feedback. I let it run as is for the the feel and probably try that route. I do want some weight in the front though.
Hey good commentary and showmanship but the angle lol
What body is that
I wanna say it is from ECX. It's been a while.
What body are you using?
ECX but no wing I think. It's been a minute though.
That's nice
It's a blast. Been beating for the past couple weeks.
That joker moves
Got great top speed
Super. I was wondering how the MT10 would perform with an upgrade. I love the 3s BLX systems. They have been super dependable. Excellent run and video. Very nice. 👍🏁
Transmission is all but bullet proof. It's a good test platform. I've been having a blast with this set up. Might need to stiffen up the diffs
@@rippinrclife1219 Thanks for sharing. The MT10 is a super RC.
I put a hpi trophy 4s combo in my daughters mt10 it's absolutely crazy. My daughter backflips it off of everything now lol
It is back flip crazy now. You called that right!!!
The RIVAL Mt10 is fun
I know it was a beast already but this system has kicked it up a notch.
on my mate's hsp flying fish, one of the dogbones didn't sit far enough in the diff cup and caused all sorts of issues. i fixed it by a couple of 0.2mm shims on the inner wheel bearing side to move the dogbone closer to the diff cup, and a couple on the opposite diff bearing side, to move the entire diff 0.4mm over for a total of 0.8mm. after that, the dogbone sits nicely in the cup. and mesh still fine. the diffs for my vrx cars come with 5 shims, if you get them wrong the mesh can be too tight, and i guess usually its for adjusting mesh, but on this HSP, it really needed some shimming
Appreciate the info. Gonna get right on that. Think I'll see if ican just adjust it on the cvd hub end first. Never had the issue till I stiffened up the diff. Thanks again
I can see that you have a lot of unwanted movement in your lower A-Arms. You might want to try shimming them. I hope you get the 100 soon.
I heard those last twenty are hard. Ordered a pinion already. Crossing fingers.
It’s your wing !!! Gotta put on high speed wing
Just subbed to your channel
Back at you Bro...Thanks
Are you gonna send it TO THE MOOOOOOOOOON (Sorry I watch lots of Kevin Talbot bash reviews)
It shall be sent.
Nice my brother
you're right about the battery sliding forward, i posted a photo of my method for using that clip with a velcro one-strap on my profile love the car, but i've gone thru half a dozen rear diff drive gears. front one is always okay, and i cycle the diffs, so its not crown gear. i think its just the play in the center shaft. I persist, fun car on a small track, 2s is ample
I've had an issue with the rear as well. I haven't had the time to fix it but yah I'm hoping some shims will help. Definitely a blas though.
@@rippinrclife1219 i've tried a 0.2mm shim between the bearing and gear front and rear, as there's a full 1mm play in the shaft. but I'm still burning gears. at least they're fairly cheap. but annoying that they aren't the same spec as the old ones, so one can't use the upgraded metal gears that are plentiful for the 144001 etc
@shadyhazza Thanks for the info. The variance might have something to do with a different chassis. I've been thinking of going with the metal chassis rc. Not sure yet though. Really like the car.
@@rippinrclife1219 the plastic 124008/124010 is a complete redesign, it shares some parts with the metal chassis (old models), but all the parts that start with the number 27 are new parts that aren't compatible with the old model. like the dogbones, dogbone cups, and driveshaft components
@@rippinrclife1219 oh yeah and these are all based on lc racing emb chassis with several compatible parts. i think the 1/12 is just a long wheel base 1/14 cos many of those parts are compatible too
Hoovoo 3s 80c shorty's are awesome tons more power same size I have both and had them for a minute both are good battery's!
Awesome video
hell yeah it gets down
I did a lot of research. It is only going to get better.
Hi, i'm new at this hobby lol, thinking on buying this one to start, don't like that body style too much Lol, do they sell those shell? Like if i want to change that buggy style for a pick up truck (like monster truck) can i do that? If so, where do i get that shell from?
Yes you can change them up. I've been looking around for different 1/16 scale bodies and I've found there is a lot to choose from. If you wanna keep the lights you might have to do some research but there is so much variety.
@@rippinrclife1219..i don't worry about light too much Lol. so i can buy any 1/16 scale and it'll fit no matter brand?
@rayr.6350 So if you end up getting this RC it does have a wing and that might need some cutting for the wing. Also some of the lids do have precut holes you might need posts but that' needs posts but these RC are pretty universal .
thank you for the info. now talking about this rc they have it on sale and i ended up buying it even though reviews are 3.5 out of 5 stars, i guess i will have my own opinion about it (hopefully it'll be good one) Lol
@rayr.6350 I wish I new about metal drivetrains because the 1st and 2nd rcs I got were mostly plastic and they didn't last long. So your ahead from the start. The one I got has shocks that leak so that might be something you want to keep an eye on. Enjoy...the last time I had it out I did!
hell yeah brother
What brushless set up did ya put in it man ive got a brushed rustler wanting to go brushless
It's a Hobby Fans combo. Some Amazon special. Think its a 60 amp ESC and a 3700kv motor.
Very impressive run with NIMH battery!!!!
I was having a blast till I knocked the motor loose. I not sure how much run time I had left. I do have a video coming out with a full run time coming up soon though.
😮😮😮
Looks like that thing scoots real good with them tires on it
Looks good bruh,I put those tires on one of my brushless mjx trucks 1/16 scale an believe me it handles an run much much better like it was meant for it my friend.
Love the look myself too. Issue was the rear diff went out. Could it be the added weight? Who knows, just gonna repair it and give it a RIP.
Cool car and sweet hat
Thanks man. That little car ripps too.
I love it great video
Thanks. That RC handles like a champ with some after market MT tires.
Those arms are known for breaking . Derby city RC does a good vid of this pup
This was much better than the speed test video 3 months ago 😂. You drove it straight into a curb a few times . We all know because it’s happened to all of us .
Ha! That truck definitely had issues trying to get the servo lined up. Also had some ESC issues. It was cutting off on its own. Reached and was sent a new one. I do definitely need some skill level added to my driving though.
Great driving bruh.
Appreciate that man...its a smooth rc. I can't do it justice. I was really impressed. Surprised it didn't kick up the RC crowd.
Right, it really handles and drive great
If You ever have to adjust the slipper clutch, can you make a video so I can see just in case I have to adjust mines one am sure it will need adjustment some time or another
@jeromepenick2060 It doesn't one. That's the one thing I worry about. It's got lots of power and if you feel it is slipping more than likely the gers are gone.
That little thing scoots pretty well! I pulled the trigger on the Amain website at just about the last possible minute as I too was on the fence about getting one. Hasn't arrived yet, but I'm pretty excited!
The owner threw the price and I said why not. Hard to hold back when it was in my hands. Definitely a good buy.
Did you solve this ?
I did not. Tried adjusting camber and toe and issue was still there. Not as bad but still there.
I enjoyed it. Pretty impressive speed. Definitely changing the shocks made that difference.
I have had a Gantry Pro for over a year. It's a tough little truck. I put oil filled shocks on it right away. The biggest downside besides the shocks is the steering servo. It is weak and very slow. Not that it matters...but it is pronounced with a hard "G". Looking forward to your test drive and first impressions.
Real nice 👌
Got a sub from me! Keep it up and keep having fun!!! 🤙💙🔥🔥🔥
Do you recommend this dbx10? Im planning to get the brushless version, just not decide yet if get it or not 🤔
The only issue I had that I felt would be a deal breaker was the electronics but I got the brushed version.
i got mine for $65 well worth it try 3cell
I'd love to bit waiting on replacement parts for a min.
Any idea what size the tires are?
1.85 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall. 12mm hex. There's no spec on Amazon sorry. If you look up the Croboll tire replacement. Think they went well with the car
@@rippinrclife1219 thank you very much for the answer 🙏
Great run 😂😂😂
Dude!!! Great channel. I like your filming style, out and about. I do the same thing!!!!🤘🤘🤘 Subbed!!!
Appreciate it man. Hadn't been into the hobby for years but it's come a long way. Contagious!!!
Like button smashed.. these lil street Bashers are so fun 😊
Loads of fun. I took it to the local RC Headquarters and made a fool of myself trying to drive it on there track. Still had fun though.
I got mine on 4s
I have the same truck there the bomb
It takes a beating. 4s? It must fly
Quick running rc 😊its pretty cool 👍
Yeah i got this for $63 on amazon not a bad brushless rig. Need to find some really small 3s batteries for this. The batteries are wicked small. Lol.
Not a bd rig but hard to get replacement parts. Been waiting for a few days now for an answer on a small piece of the steering mech.
@@rippinrclife1219 i hear ya the rango has no aluminum parts for it all out of stock. For the upgrade.
They both had messy wire set,but preform great my friend.
Yep I had to zip tie the ESC but it is taking a beating
