The Mutant Hot Glue is a versatile bus mixer for analog effects chain design. The included analog compressor offers series or parallel compression and a sidechain input, making it particularly well suited to drum processing. The distortion can be used in its default position, normalized to the effects send, or like every other part of the module, broken out and used elsewhere in your modular sy...

😍🔥👍
hı When recording MIDI while playing in real time on the DAW using this editor, are the changes I make to the filter, adsr, etc. buttons on the device written to the MIDI channel in real time?
Man twiddles knobs, makes things echoey. Its a bit jumpy.
Looks a lot better than it sounds, imho
=o
"Silver scale" from "Tangents" box set, also has this, only in great sound quality, not like Arturia's plasticky vst crap..
Nee, ist auch durch die vielen Jahre nicht besser geworden
First comment 💪🤙👍
Good stuff.
Sounds like a roland tb 303 😊
Nice. Has the atmosphere of 3AM at the border of the marsh from Okefenokee, especially when the flute come in.
Although my favourite period was the Schmoelling years, Lily on the beach (the album) was on repeat play when it came out. Underwater sunlight...canyon dreams (?) it's rare to find someone showing some love for the late 80s stuff, and I love how you merge into Dominion! And a blast of Ricochet too.
Nicely looped. Filling in the other layers in my mind! Have you seen this? th-cam.com/video/k5z9qES48Rw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5MAYxj-qYQ0YPaAg and their other covers?

What do you think Wendy
Has anyone discected this patch and can explain how the ratchet is done?
The filter 'envelope' is actually a falling sawtooth low-frequency oscillator. One of the sequencer lines controls the speed of the oscillator, so that it can run at one pulse per step, two pulses per step (an octave higher), or four pulses per step (two octaves higher). This video explains it in more detail: th-cam.com/video/ej0WGEY64K4/w-d-xo.html
@@utdgrant Thank you! I'm still confused here though. With the sequence shown here, if he is using lane 2 for the ratchets, why is there no ratchet on step 2 or 3? I would expect lane 2 to be all zero except step 6 but it isn't here, nor in lane 3. I've followed the workings in the video you linked and can follow that (again, thanks) but I still don't see how it works here. Either way, the ratcheting done using the LFO pitch change is such a musical and neat way of doing it rather than the more exact and mechanical sounding trigger rate change.
@@heimlichvonbladderburst8348 My apologies! It was quite a long time ago that I analysed the Diamond Diary patch on the Arturia Modular V. The 'magic ingredient' is hiding behind the scenes: ENV 3 is triggered by step 6 of the Sequencer. You can't see the cable connecting them as it's all done in hidden drop-down menus. ENV2 is triggered constantly by the VC LFO, which is running at 8 times the basic sequencer rate. The outputs of ENV2 and ENV3 both modulate Filter 2, and only becomes accentuated whenever Step 6 is executed. Step 6 ALSO triggers the left hand VCA / Env module in the second cabinet. Again, this trigger signal is hidden behind a drop-down menu. It only passes through the output of Filter 2 whenever Step 6 plays. The left hand VCA / Env is triggered on every sequencer step, and so lets through the output of Filter 1 for every beat. Both filters are fed from the same oscillator mixer output, so the two signals combine to give you a single pulse on every beat, plus the ratching effect only on Step 6.
The great thing about the ratcheting in the Thief album is that mostly, it is not "every 6th or 7th step" like it is here but it follows a 24 step pattern so that it always kicks in at a different point. This aspect is something I wish people would use when doing ratcheting these days rather than just leaving it to brrrllpp on the same beat.
I totally agree. Furthermore, i like the ratchet mode on the Hydrasynth that has a "chance" knob. That elevates it to another dimension..
The way I do it in modular land is to have separate pitch and gate (ratchet) tracks in the sequencer and set them to different lengths in beats so they cycle at different points and the ratchets don't end up hitting the same fixed beat which is boring as hell.
YES!
AS a lifelong TD fan, this is bad ass. I play keys and am trying to wrap my head around patching like this. bravo.
😮...❤❤❤!!! BRÁVO ~🎉😅
sounds smooth 🤗
I feel love, I feel love, I... oh sorry, wrong bass line...
Don't you love Arturia! 🙂
This one was real badass in the park is mine
Maybe idea is good, but this just doesnt sound that good
Sounds fantastic to me!
I agree with you, to my ears the module doesn't sound pleasing, some others may like it ... (I will probably go for a RYK Night Rider).
Absolutely perfect!

This looks like some Amiga software I once had.
the amen break and that heavy kick bass has a freetekno french/czech/UK illegal rave kinda vibe
I often wish TG had done whole albums like this. I'd just put on my headphones, click "loop" and disappear for days. Great recreation!
check out early Cosmic Ground albums
I wish Throbbing Gristle had made albums like this too FFS.
I’m gonna have to leave, modular synths are incompatible with married life & meeting mortgage payments 😂
Mike Dean….. this is incredible!
❤
Great sounds
Awesome! The highlighted cursor is so much easier to see what is being adjusted. Thank you!
I really like this mixer. Too bad that I made an agreement with myself that if a new mixer comes to the rack, it should have faders.

to bad that this channel only rips off video content from other channels. This is a video from the official Erica Synths channel

I am plunged into the depths of inexpressible disillusionment with this synthesizer. Hence, it is with an unassailable sense of inevitability and exacting propriety that I shall, without a shadow of doubt, procure the Moog Subsequent 37. This instrument stands as a quintessential embodiment of the loftiest ideals of Moog’s venerable and illustrious heritage, and its substantial and hallowed price is indubitably justified by its unparalleled excellence and transcendental craftsmanship.
Subsequent 37 is great but it’s pretty simple. Not lofty or deep.
InMusic rules
I own a Moog One and a Matriarch. I've still yet to see or hear why the Muse will benefit us One owners. But if something surfaces from Moog's official video/release then I will have open ears.
It’s more for non Moog one owners.
@@BullyMaguire4ever oh I totally agree. And will most likley be recommending it to everyone. I think its a great synth, given what we now know about it after today's release. I guess the main offer it has for Moog One owners is to downgrade to it and buy other synths with the extra money. Which isn't a bad idea. But that option isnt logical for me personally.. It sounds more like a Jupiter 8 to me than a Moog Polysynth. Which isn't bad either. I give the Muse two thumbs up, for sure.
Right…it’s not 8 grand. That’s the main deal…somehow the one missed the mark..I don’t see it on stage.. in fact I seem to see the prophet 8 on stage quite a bit not even pro 6 that much so that is interesting.
@@markaprill6501 I don't think anyone is willing to lug around a Moog one haha. It's very heavy, and to bring such an expensive synth on the road would be a headache to deal with. The Muse is so much smaller and more efficient for touring. After seeing so man vids about the Muse, I can now say it's for sure worth getting. I still am sticking with my One though.
Did they invent anything new in terms of sound design for this? It seems like a synth you buy for the brand name. Then you look at it while you feel cool in your studio and that makes you feel inspired. You know, like a Muse.
Yes?
If you have to ask you dont need one dude 😂
It has a lot of cool features for an analog Polysynth. Cross mod, 3 oscillators, custom LFOs, 3 lfos, ring mod, mixer overload, Lag processor, a deep sequencer and deep ARP. Dual filters, dual VCA. If you want “NEW” sounds maybe stick with digital. If you want a deep powerful great sounding analog poly, maybe the muse?
I think you're supposed to invent the sound design yourself.
Moog has my attention again.
Mike is living the life.
mhh looks wise a downgrade from the moog one
Nah this is the goth Jupiter 8 😍
Tell me, please, how to make patch 13 from this video
