I just got a pair online cos nobody had’em local. I’ve been wearing nothing but zero drop/minimalist foot shaped footwear for about the past decade and these do not quite *feel zero drop to me. They feel like they were designed for runners who heel strike. Hard to explain but yeah. They are not as wide in the toe box as I had hoped. But they are maybe just wide enough for me to handle. I’ll probably keep mine. Not as stoked on’em as I hoped for. But they beat Altras.

If you had of used a bigger target would of been very useful, only problem I find with the Dreamline, I can't get a good bipod, so it stays on strong.

I've used my .50cal Red Dragon to take a four pointer last year and my .35cal Air Force to take a six point and doe the year before. They are quite capable if they develope enough velocity to have enough energy downrange. PCP guns are the only ones that will do this. The choice of slug and it's weight are also important factors in energy delivered on target and damage done for a humane shot. Also depends on if it's legal in your area. More states are coming around but a lot are still behind the times as usual

That's a bugger. It was shallow and slow going but all good for adventure and the intimacy with the river. Ha, she had the best seat in the canoe. Top view from the front. There was a review on Amazon that said that the sole of RunVenture 3 would peel off due to the weak adhesive, and that the toes and bends would crack, but has this been strengthened in RunVenture 4?

Saw a video not too long ago with a guy using a 177 break barrel on a freshly harvested black bear so fresh rig hadnt set in and the pellets were able to penetrate the skull, same dude did another test with a 22 break barrel and it was only able to reliably penetrate the skull of a freshly harvested deer (again fresh enough that rig hadnt set in) when it was head on between the eyes. He removed the heads, boiled them so there was no flesh then inspected the skulls, he only had any good success when using pellets designed for penetrating
