Not great as a security or privacy fence if you don’t anchor it into the channel.won’t do a damn thing if criminals or a dog push up from the bottom and it comes out of the fence.
@thee_number_six6227 That's why we will be extending the post channels. And let's be honest, a fence won't stop criminals these days. A fence is merly there for decorative purposes.
Just remember a shower doesn’t have a plug and fill up like a bath or basin so it’s only the washer under the tray that seals. Plus tip under the tray isn’t smooth always add a sealant on top of the washer aswell. CT1 works well as sets under water.
@NicholasCull-m4h Hi there, thank you some great advice here. I use plumbers putty normally, so when I reopen, it is a little easier.
@NicholasCull-m4h yes i ran my finger under the tray where the qasher seals to and yes it wasn't smooth.
Diamond bit 😂 30mm hole in the boss 😂 multitool to cut the waste pipe 😂 fair enough for having a go but you're making a right hash of it

A boss strap only costs a few pounds. Penny pinching on renovations. Some time when I'm upto it I'll upload some of the renovation work we do in our own properties. This is completely the wrong way to connect waste pipe to a soil stack.
@rayc1503 I was going to get the one from FloPlast for £11.49 had not got the time to go and collect. So, just done this for the time being so I can use the sink temporarily. I enjoy the reactions in the comments sometimes...

Not building up heat by pushing the blade faster than it wants to go, then buy the cheapest blades you like and they will last.

Are you cutting sheet material with it?
LVT rigid core flooring
@jlpropertychannel9900 yea, you're using the wrong blades. Get a mitre saw with min of 52 teeth. I suppose you're still new
I have a mitre, you cannot use a mitre saw for non linear cuts ... You are even newer than I am 😜
@jlpropertychannel9900 yes for the scribes use a coping saw. If you're using the jig for all cuts it'll dull quick. I've probably been building longer than you've been a swimmer bud
You must be one of them people who are stuck in their ways and don't move with the times. You love commenting on my channel, you know if you are that great and experienced you don't need to be here lol ... You can resist watching my videos 🤣
I'd highly recommend Bosch T308BF blades. Great all rounder in my opinion👍

Depends what your cutting. Clean Down cuts T101BR Bosch. Also that blade has basic written on it.

Dewalt but its always good to let the blade cool down as they quickly heat and warp and mess the cut up, so try giving the blade a break while working it througj wood

I love this sort jobs😊...you planning to remove it and install something else ?
@MohcineOnline Heyy, I'm going to remove it completely and connect the combination boiler to the bath taps.
Why is there a chunk missing from the upvc door? Probably better to replace than repair.
@rayc1503 heyy, I cut that out to under the hooks. As there was not mushrooms to use the door spreader method which the locksmith tried. So I carefully cut it out and now I have done a few coats of a plastic filler. I sanded and now it literally works perfect. I changed the box box myself and wd40'd the rest of the mutlilocking system. I will show you in a future video
@@jlpropertychannel9900 Winbags are what you needed to spread the door frame. If you have access to the internal side of it. 2-3 top mid and bottom. The hooks are then pushed or tapped up and down to open the broken levers. I've done this to gain access before. Minimal damage too.
@@rayc1503 heyy, thanks for this really appreciate it

Please explain what an 'impact drill' is. As a builder of nearly 35 years I'm curious
Impact drills are known for having a powerful torque that lets them drill through dense materials such as metal or knotted wood. Great projects for an impact driver include: Building a deck or fence. Assembling furniture with large screws. Hope this helps
@jlpropertychannel9900 😄😄 so what tool am I buying here? I've got an SDS drill, a combi drill, an impact driver and torque driver. I've got carbide/tungsten tipped attachments. I do love being taught new things from diyers
I can recommend a great training course. It will be a great chance for you to grow.
@@jlpropertychannel9900 not sure if you can tell but I'm winding you up. There's no tool called an 'impact drill' so may I suggest you jump on that course of yours
Not sure if you could tell, I was winding you up up too. I am aware of all that ... but videos there are pretty much on the spot will have some verbal errors. I was concentrating on not falling from the ladder. Most things are learned through mistakes and always being able to take advice, no matter how experienced you are. Best way to learn almost anything. Someone for 35 years experience could have the same performance as someone with 10 years. It is also how you apply what you learn and thinking outside the system helps too.
I really want to get into this. Going to binge your videos but how did you guys get started initially?
@CocoYazmin07 Hi there, thanks for your comment. Haa, we hope they help. We just purchased our first property to be honest, and then based on what we learned, we built off that. Mistakes will happen, but you need to learn from them. We still make small mistakes even today. If you want to get started, the stamp duty will be going up in March next year. So, purchasing before we be great to save on that stamp duty.

No-one told you about the three pins at the hinges then....
@TheRealAncientGamer No one told you that they can sometimes not be taken off without the door being in the open position. A locksmith came over and initially tried if you look at my previous short video.
Why put new handles on a door that looks like it’s been through two wars and a latch that’s been slammed more times than ya Nan’s shitter?
@robthorn2282 I can tell you are struggling, Rob ... some people may want to keep hassle to a minimum, so the point of the video was to install new handles on existing doors. The point of the video was not to attract comments from failed comedians online.
Old latches were built way better than new ones. Brass and steel Vs plastic and hope
@ImBuanana yes true but unfortunately, we can't get those old one now

A decent fitter will have a locked door and frame out in half hour with no damage to the house
@mikepage9520 Yes, that would be true... at the price of £1500 to £2000. I progressed further with the door and recorded stage by stage to show what I done. Saved thousands by doing it this way. Should be uploading it in the near future.
@@jlpropertychannel9900 what I really ment was if you're changing it you don't need to unlock it, just take the panel and glass out and cut the door in the centre vertically, with a recipe if you have one, hacksaw if not
You can punch and snap those locks, very easy gain entry in less than 3 minutes
@Fatheroftwoand1 hiii thank you, I done that but I think the gearbox is the issue. I removed the cylinder already.
@jlpropertychannel9900 Get a small screw driver and at the top of the barrel hole on the door there is little catch if you move this with the screw drive you'll release the latches
@Fatheroftwoand1 okay noted, thank youuu
Kick the panel out its only got beading around it
@tonyb6107 oh thanksss well try
I have an idea call a locksmith duh!
@@GW8915 Who do you think is in the video itself 🤔
Theres usually a secondary spindle hole in the gearbox between the euro and handle, remove or cut hole in handle plate and drill door to find it, will overide everything even if gearbox has stopped working and door is double locked
@mikepage9520 Hi Mike, this is really helpful. I will check this out today and see. Thankkk you for helping so far!
If its a gearbox, take the hinges off. Problem is there is likely a grubscrew holding the hinge pin in place in a place where you can't get to it while the door is closed. However if you give it enough of a whack, the pins will still come out. Worst case scenario is you ruin the hinges and you have to buy new ones.
@@Christopher_T_Paul Hi Chris, really appreciate the advice and thank you
Was that him pumping his knees up
Very good
Did you try the door bell
@stephenlake8043 Normally hate these comments, but I sorted it now and that was quite funny
Cemtex is the way forward
@@billsmith3028 what is that
Easiest way is locksmith, probably £80 to bump the lock open, new barrel is £10 if you lost the keys. DIY method is to destructively removed the handle (it isn't hard trust me) then get a pair of pliers and snap the barrel, it will fall away, then just put a screwdriver in the barrel void to move the lever that locks the mechanism. It will cost you £10 for new handles and £10 for new lock.
@Christopher_T_Paul hi Chris the locksmith couldn't open it before it did not have mushroom locks
@@jlpropertychannel9900was not much of a locksmith then
@lesliehill4516 hard to say with our being there but the door for not have mushrooms but only hooks. Their he could not use the door spreader.
If it is double locked you need to break the barrel or drill it out . If is only just pulled too bend where the keys is and it may just come out the latch plate
@michaelellisdon1187 thanks Michael, I taken the barrel out but it did not work. The gearbox seems jammed itself.
@@jlpropertychannel9900 Put in a screwdriver to move the latch in the barrel void to activate the locking mechanism.
