Hey bro, as someone who was in your position about 3 months ago (I got into a new job full of social people), what really works, as someone below me said, is to accept yourself as you are. You're not weird, you're not boring, I can see that with this video, you have interesting things to say, about anything, to anyone. Get out there and talk with people, start with just saying hi. Remember, almost every person you encounter in your day to day wants a social interaction, and what you say doesn't really matter, just say something, be chill. If you think you're cringy, don't think that, everyone has cringy moments, social people just don't really remember them or care bout them, it's a normal thing to say weird things during socialization. Social people also don't always say the perfect thing in the perfect time, they just speak their mind and that's it. Try doing the same. I know you will make it man, good luck.

I really like how you put it into words, I've never been able to describe what happens when I'm socializing but it's 100 percent like I'm zoned out, like my brain goes on autopilot and all that's going through my head is my own insecurities or how badly I want to interaction to be over. Causes me too feel like I'm boring aswell because I can't think of anything to say because my mind isn't fully in the conversation.

Hey brotha, I just wanna say your video helps me out man because I feel the same thing. One thing that really helps me with what you’re talking about is true self-acceptance. That’s one thing i’m working on and it really helps to learn how to love yourself even when you’re not funny or charming etc because you’re not gonna be all the time. Also what help for me because i’m an introvert is accepting that people are gonna find me boring for not being funny all the time and that’s alright, those people don’t like me for the true me anyways. You just gotta find the truth that you are lovable without being all of these superficial traits (funny, charismatic, super conversational) all of the time and you will start accepting yourself. Once you start realizing that you deserve love even while being an anxious dude and you start truly accepting how you feel then you’ll grow. Also what helps me is just looking at conversations like just fun for me. Once you start learning conversational skills that are fun for you then you can start having fun and enjoying conversations because of how you make them and if people don’t accept you for that than fuck them because you accept yourself for that. (Trust me i’m still working on all of this myself but I hope this helps!)

Mate there's such harsh judgement of others coming out of your words towards other people and how they're living their life, when in reality you have lots of work to do on yourself, some serious self reflection & self accountability is needed. I understand you didn't have a bad intention and you're just sharing your thoughts, but a couple of the comments made in this video came out really badly especially the one about young girls, it just came across as disgraceful to be honest; that's someone's daughter you're talking about show some respect. Usually I would never take the time to comment on a video I don't agree with but I'm genuinely saying this to you because as a young man it's what you need to hear. I'm 24 now and I recorded 100s of youtube videos which I took down because I grew as person and realised the intention and energy behind videos you share with the world have a real life impact. So look, you have passion and drive which can be a destructive or creative force depending on how you use it - it's got to be directed in the right areas, primarily inwardly first so you can understand your own emotions and what's driving all of this judgement of others with no accountability placed upon yourself. Clean your camera lens and set it at eye level to frame your face better and look more professional, and put in some minor editing such as text whenever you say a "key point" in the video to help it stick peoples brains better. These small additions dont take much time and add a lot to the professionalism of the video.

Good video. Good social skills advice. There are a couple points I don't agree with - but overally, well said. There are not a lot of these very social people who'd talk to everyone around just because they want to brighten other people's lives. Yeah, people may give you weird looks at first, but the more you are socializing - the more natural and genuine you start being with strangers. And instantly you make friends everywhere you go.

In contrast, I feel that a healthy balance of comparing to others and comparing to your past self is what we should do.
