I wish I could. Unfortunately, from what I understand, Sha Na Na did not perform this song on their show, but during one of their concerts in Japan (I think it was also put on a record too.) I made a video clipshow of them and this song in tribute, but I don't have a way of matching the words to their lip movements (since they are actually singing lots of other songs within the clipshow.)
RIP Curtis lee. Johnny did cover this song and killed the falsetto especially at the very end

@@Treble3 Donny was on lead vocals for Angel Eyes on the show, and Johnny provided the falsetto harmonization. I'm not sure who sang it on their record... Possibly Elliot?
This song IS being performed by Kenny Vance and the Planotones. It was written by Kenny Vance, Johnny Gale and Bruce Sudano and is featured on their CD "Mr. Santa", circa 2011-2012. Kenny signed my CD in person at the time of its release at a concert in Easton, PA. Im sorry to come across as being critical, but both groups are lifelong favorites of mine and I believe credit should go to the proper artists.
To my knowledge, the version I have playing above is by The Van Dells. I made a slightly shorter, second version of this same video with Kenny Vance and The Platones singing this song, which I will include a link for below. Both songs also sound very different from one another, despite having the same words. This song is performed by a group called The Chaperones; I just made it in tribute to Johnny. (I made this a few years back with photoshop; the first time doing so, as I had only made videos with windows live movie maker before. I was in a hurry, so I picked the song I just happened to be listening to at the time, lol.) Glad it turned out. :)
This video edit is really cool. I'm close friends with Lennie Baker from the sha na na group and I can bet he would have loved it if he were still here on earth. But I'm sure he's smiling down from heaven enjoying this in his own way ❤

This song is called Shining Star, and it is by a group called The Chaperones. I can only imagine just how amazing Sha Na Na would be performing it, though I greatly appreciate just how much music they've given us!
